Angelina Jolie has claimed that 3 of her children wanted to testify against ex-husband Brad Pitt.
3 of Angelina’s children with Brad hoped to testify against him in their ongoing custody case.
The news comes after the famous pair divorced back in 2019.
Court documents obtained by Us Weekly showed that Angelina’s legal team said “3 of the children have asked to testify” against their dad.
The document was filed as part of the actress’s ongoing attempt to have Judge John Ouderkerk removed from the case due to his alleged connection with one of Brad’s lawyers.
“The children whose custody is at issue are old enough to understand what is going on,” the document reads.
“The trial is necessarily going to impact them emotionally. Three of the children have asked to testify. To make any of the children endure what may be a futile and void proceeding is beyond unjustified. It is cruel.”
The documents did not state which of the children were reportedly willing to speak against their dad.
The custody case first began back in December 2020, in which they fought for custody of the 5 youngest children, Pax, seventeen, Zahara, sixteen, Shiloh, fourteen and twins Vivienne and Knox, twelve.
Their eldest child, Maddox is now nineteen – thus seen as an adult in the eyes of the law.
Last month, Brad was reportedly awarded joint custody of his children with Angelina.
But, although Angelina did not objected to joint custody, there were “other issues of concern,” a source told Page Six.
This is a developing story and updates will be posted accordingly.
