Jolie shared the exciting news on Instagram with her thirteen million followers.
In the post, Zahara could be seen alongside her fellow Spelman sisters donning their new college shirts as they embrace the new chapter of their lives.
“Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year,” Jolie wrote.
“A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl. #spelman #spelmancollege #spelmansisters #HBCU.”
Fans were thrilled with the update, and thousands took to the comments section to share their congratulations with the teen.
One impressed fan wrote: “Wow, cannot believe she is in college. My niece just graduated from Spelman this spring and she loved it. She is on her way to law school. Have a good school year and may God continue to bless you, beautiful young lady.”

The exciting news comes just a week after Jolie was spotted shopping in Rome with Zahara, as the actress took a day off from filming her new movie, Without Blood.

And now Jolie was spotted dropping Zahara off at the prestigious college in Atlanta, Georgia…
This comes as dad, Brad Pitt, recently confessed how he felt about his daughter’s enrolment at Spelman.
“I’m so proud of her,” he said while conducting interviews at the premiere of his latest film, Bullet Train.
“She’s so smart. She’s going to flourish even more at college. It’s an exciting and beautiful time to find her own way and pursue her interests. I’m so proud,” said the actor.
“Where does the time go, right? They grow up too fast,” he said of his children. “It brings a tear to the eye.”
And it looks like Zahara’s mom feels the exact same…
In a recent Instagram video posted by the college’s vice president for student affairs, Darryl Holloman asked the Jolie how she felt about her daughter’s big move…
And like any mom, she got pretty emotional.
“I’m gonna start crying… I have not started crying yet,” the actress said.
The video also showed the actress standing next to the college’s president, Dr. Helene Gayle, who went on to explain to the Oscar-winning actress that would have “plenty of time” to get emotional as the ceremonies that would follow will “purposefully induce tears” and “bring it all out”, Too Fab reports.
“I heard tomorrow night’s the big deal. I’m holding it together still,” Jolie said.
Holloman then went on to ask the star actress how she felt being a Spelman mom and she didn’t hold back, confessing her happiness…
