Actor Angus Cloud, best know for his role in HBO’s hit series Euphoria, has passed away aged 25.
And before his passing, he posted something truly heartbreaking on social media.
And the comments are flooded with messages to the late star.
“Man i wish someone checked on you this sh*t aint right man,” wrote one fan.
“I hope you knew how loved you are. i wish this wasn’t real,” wrote another.
The actor’s family announced his passing in a heartbreaking statement.
Fans have been left heartbroken by the news.
Cloud rose to stardom after taking on the role of drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill on the teen drama Euphoria.
And was well loved by everyone.
Prior to this, Cloud had minor acting credits in two films, North Hollywood and The Line.
He had also appeared in music videos for artists including Becky G, Karol G and Juice WRLD.
But it wasn’t until 2019 that he became a true breakout star.
But he didn’t always have an acting career in mind…
According to a 2019 interview with GQ, Cloud had no real aspirations to pursue fame or even become an actor.
He actually used to work at a chicken and waffle joint!
It wasn’t until he was approached by a casting company one day in the street that things took a turn.
“I was confused and I didn’t want to give her my phone number,” Cloud told GQ. “I thought it was a scam.”
After Euphoria hit screens back in 2019, it did receive a lot of backlash for it’s ‘glorification’ of teen drug use.
And in 2022, Cloud defended these accusations in an interview to TMZ.
News of his passing has left many people leaving tributes.
Euphoria creator Sam Levinson said: “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon.”
Cloud’s co-star Javon “Wanna” Walton, known in the show as Cloud’s adoptive brother, Ashtray, wrote on Instagram: “Rest easy brother.”
Actress Kerry Washington also posted on the platform: “You will be deeply missed. Rest in power.”
HBO also released a statement on his passing.
They said – “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud.
“He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family.
We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”
Fans have been leaving tributes on Cloud’s social media too.
“Heartbreaking… we’ve lost another beautiful soul,” one commented.
“Love you bro! Rest In Paradise,” said another.
A third wrote “Every time I watched you, it always made me feel like i had a real brother.”
Prior to his death, Cloud had been dealing with the death of his father.
Cloud had attended his father’s funeral in Ireland last week and, according to his family, “intensely struggled with this loss”.
And he made a heartbreaking post on Instagram about his late father just weeks before his passing.
Which has broken everyone’s hearts.
And everyone has been commenting on the post.
And what they have to say is devastating.
A third commented “you’re back together now. we love you forever.”
Whilst a fourth agreed, writing ” hope he was waiting for you at the gates! Rest easy both of you.”
His final post was in tribute to his late father.
His family revealed he had been struggling with the loss.
The comments on the post are flooded with people saying the same thing.
That Cloud is now reunited with his father.

And now, Euphoria actor Angus Cloud.
The star died on Monday at his family home in Oakland, California, said a publicist.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” said the Cloud family.
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” it said.
“We hope the world remembers him for his humour, laughter and love for everyone.”
Cloud had recently been dealing with the death of his father.
According to his family, he “intensely struggled with this loss”.
There was some comfort in knowing he was now “reunited with his dad, who was his best friend”, they said in a statement.
“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” they wrote.
“We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
Two weeks before his death, Cloud posted a heartbreaking tribute to his late father on Instagram.
Alongside a photograph of his dad, he captioned it “miss u breh.”
And all the comments are saying the same thing.
“They together now,” wrote one fan.
“You and pops are together now,” wrote another.
“You’re resting with him now,” said a third.
