Faris is an undeniably well-established actress.

In 2000, she had a starring role in Scary Movie — a spoof horror series that re-enacted scenes from famous horror scenes. It was in this role of Cindy Campbell that people really started noticing her excellent timing.

Faris was later immortalized through her role in Friends.

Faris was in the final series of Friends. She played the small-town pregnant lady, Erica, whose children Monica and Chandler were adopting. Her character wasn’t so smart and most notably, hadn’t realized that she was pregnant with twins.

And of course, who can forget her role in The House Bunny?

Faris was hilarious again in her role as an exiled Playboy Bunny. This was also one of Emma Stone’s first roles, as she plays a nerdy college student who Faris tries to change so that she’s more like a Playboy Bunny.

From 2013, she starred in the sitcom Mom.

The show is unique in not having any long-running male protagonists. Instead, it was a female-centric show that brilliantly showcases female comedy and issues.

But that came to an end rather abruptly…

As Faris unexpectedly quit the show causing a lot of speculation.

Faris is no stranger to making headlines.

Her relationship with Chris Pratt well and truly dominated the news cycle.

The pair married in 2009 and just a few years later, Faris gave birth to their son, Jack.

But in 2017, Faris and Pratt separated, later filing for a divorce after 5 months apart.

At first, it seemed as though the pair had remained close.

They were good friends and co-parents — so that’s something of a happy ending.

But then Faris and Pratt hit headlines for something that put a strain on their friendship.

After Pratt shared a post dedicated to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, that praised her while using a controversial choice of words…

In Pratt’s adoring post to his wife, he thanked her for giving him “a gorgeous healthy daughter.”

“Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my earbuds to drown it out, but that’s love!” he wrote.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger share a daughter named Lyla.

However, many thought that his choice of words was insensitive to Faris and their son, Jack.

Jack, was born 9 weeks premature and Faris has previously revealed that their son weighed just 3 pounds and twelve ounces at birth, The Independent reported.

Jack also spent the first month in the NICU.

BuzzFeed reported that Faris opened up about Jack’s birth in her memoir, Unqualified.

“The pediatric neurosurgeon sat Chris and me down to tell us that Jack had some severe brain bleeding and there was a chance that he could be developmentally disabled,” she wrote.

But now, Faris has opened up about healing their relationship.

“That’s pretty cool. She and Chris were probably better off as co-parenting friends,” wrote one fan.

“We’re all getting much closer, and I so appreciate that,” Faris told PEOPLE this week.

“They’re very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them. I so appreciate their support.”

Faris also offered high praise to Katherine Schwarzenegger.

“She’s just on top of it. I love how she is with Jack.

“We won’t have this Thanksgiving together, but I do hope that we can celebrate holidays.

“And I do think we can. But right now we just have family obligations that take us elsewhere,” Faris continued.

“I’m happy with that element.

“And it feels just much easier now that time has passed. It feels really good to not live with that internal churning of unpleasantness,” she finished.

We’re so happy for them!
