The final debate consisted of discussions about several important topics such as immigration, climate change, and... AOC? It seems as though the president wanted to drag names through the mud, but it was the congresswoman that had the last laugh...

The final presidential debate was interesting to say the least.

Between hurling insults at each other, both Joe Biden and Donald Trump were allowed the time to sway undecided voters.

But while most of Trump's insults were hurled towards Biden, a few of them went in a different direction.

Right to US representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but of course, a powerful woman like that wasn't going to let him get away with it. She had some very important advice for the president.

Now we know Donald Trump and AOC don't have the best relationship, but it all boiled over last night at the final debate.

After months of mounting tensions, Trump and his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, faced each other for one last time.

The debate took place at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee...

And was moderated by NBC News correspondent, Kristen Welker.

It was crucial for both Trump and Biden...

Because, though Biden has a significant lead in the national polls, the gap between him and Trump is gradually reducing in the battleground states.

However, the evening ran a little differently from the other debates.

Remember the first presidential debate, wherein Trump and Biden incessantly spoke over and interrupted one another?

It was utterly shambolic, wasn't it?

And the second debate fared no better.

Following President Trump's coronavirus diagnosis, a virtual debate was pitched...

But, of course, the president refused point-blank to do this. So, in a historic first, the second debate was canceled and both candidates went on to attend their own town hall events - on different channels, at the exact same time.

And, in order for the third event to actually take place (and in an orderly manner...)

The Commission on Presidential Debates came up with a new rule.

The ninety-minute debate was divided into fifteen-minute segments...

And at the start of each new topic, each candidate had 2 minutes of uninterrupted time during which the opponent’s microphone was firmly switched off.

Both campaigns agreed to the new rule...

And, as has been done before, the moderator ensured that equal amounts of time were given to both the speakers over the course of the ninety minutes.

Of course, anticipations for this crucial event were high...

Mainly because this is Trump's last chance to salvage the little reputation he has left.

But, almost instantly...

The president seemed to be struggling with the debate's new "no interruptions" rule.

I mean, we all knew this would happen, didn't we?

Admittedly, Trump allowed Biden to have his say (though this may be thanks to his muted microphone).

But his face really said it all.

Trump doesn't have the best poker face in the world and gave away his struggle with silence last night.

And, of course, people were quick to point it out online.

Twitter users have been laughing at Trump's "hilarious" attempt at keeping quiet as Biden speaks.

Facial expressions aside, over the course of the debate, several topics were covered.

Including the coronavirus pandemic, the environment, immigration, social issues, and foreign policy.

The exchanges were sharp, to say the least.

And some even pointed out how much of a calmer performance Trump gave compared to the previous debate.

But there was one moment, he seemed to just lose his focus.

And it was over a woman who seems to be on his mind, even when she's nowhere near him.

Of course, it's Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or "AOC" to her supporters.

While discussing the Democrat's climate change plan, Donald Trump decided he was going to try and drag her name through the mud, suggesting that she knows absolutely "nothing" about the issue... says the man that denies its existence.

He even decided to include "+3" while referring to other house representatives.

And those other 3 women (obviously referring to Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley) also seem to be living rent-free in his head, though I don't know whether they would take that as a compliment or not.

He said this:

“...AOC plus three. They know nothing about the climate. She’s got a good line of stuff but she knows nothing about the climate".

And Biden's only reaction was laughter because he probably didn't see this one coming.

He looked slightly surprised at the mention of "AOC+3" and continued to laugh all the way throughout Trump's ramblings.

The Democrats truly got the last laugh after AOC herself addressed the president's remarks about her.

And it's safe to say, she's one bad b****. After her tweet was posted, floods of support came through for her.

This is what she had to say to the President of the United States.

Her story is really the definition of the American Dream... Well, besides getting attacked by the president on a global platform. I'm sure it's an honor.

She continued:

"I wonder if Republicans understand how much they advertise their disrespect of women in debates when they consistently call women members of Congress by nicknames or first names while using titles & last names when referring to men of = stature. Women notice. It conveys a lot."

And just to add insult to injury:

If I were Trump, I'd refrain from keeping AOC's name in my mouth, unless he's ready for another knock-out blow. Keep scrolling for more news on the election...
