‘April Wine’ Icon Myles Goodwyn Passes Away at 75

Today, we’re saying goodbye to the legendary Myles Goodwyn, the rockstar behind April Wine.

He jammed his heart out for 75 years, and today, the music world is a little quieter without him. 🎤

But Myles wasn’t just about rocking stages; he bagged the East Coast Music Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 and the SOCAN National Achievement Award in 2002.

Now, get this – Myles didn’t stop at belting out tunes. He spilled his life story in 2016 with the memoir “Just Between You and Me.”

Rockstar turned author – who saw that coming?

The blues had a special place in Myles’ heart. His 2018 recording, “Myles Goodwyn and Friends Of The Blues,” got a JUNO nomination and snagged the ECMA award for Blues Recording of the Year in 2019.

Earlier this year, Myles bid adieu to April Wine for live shows, but guess what? He kept the music alive with his acoustic trio.
