In other words, it would be great to have eidetic (or photographic) memory. Well now, thanks to the power of the Internet, there's a test that will let you find out if you do.

You're going to stare at two different images, then combine them in your mind. Sounds easy enough, right?

Not if you ask neurology professor Barry Gordon from the John Hopkins University School of Medicine, who said many people who flaunt having exceptional photographic memory don’t actually have it.

"Even visual memories that seem to approach the photographic ideal are far from truly photographic," he wrote.
