Ariana Grande has brought some much-needed Christmas cheer to the children in a hospital in Manchester, UK, for a very special reason...

Now, we all know that Manchester, UK is a place very close to Ariana's heart...

And that it's a place where she's donated generously to in the past.

Because, as you will remember, May 22nd, 2017, was a dark day for the city.

The world watched on in horror as the aftermath of an unprecedented terror attack unfolded in the northern UK city.

Ariana Grande had just finished her concert at the Manchester Arena...

When twenty-two-year-old Salman Ramadan Abedi detonated his suicide vest in the foyer at around 10:30 pm, just as people had started to leave.

Twenty-two people were killed in the blast...

And another 139 were severely wounded.

The attack shook the world.

Manchester quickly went into a state of mourning as the city came together to remember the children and the adults lost in the tragedy.

And, though the singer hastily left the city following the attack...

She came back just days later to visit the wounded children in the hospital.

The photos of her greeting and hugging the youngsters in their hospital beds were quick to go viral...

As they showed a completely different side to the singer.

The star made a second return to the city on June 4th, just 2 weeks after the attack...

Where she hosted One Love, a colossal and star-studded concert played in tribute for the victims.

A whole array of famous faces performed at the concert...

The concert raised a staggering $327,000...

Which was distributed evenly to all the families of the victims of the bombing.

Ariana was even made an honorary citizen of Manchester.

On the decision, the singer wrote on Instagram: "I don't know what to say. Words don't suffice. I'm moved and honored. My heart is very much still there. I love you. Thank you."

Well, 3 years have passed since the devastating tragedy...

And Ariana has kept Manchester and the victims of the attack close to her heart.

And, for the festive season, she has given the most thoughtful gesture to those still in need.

She has generously donated a £100 ($135) Amazon voucher to each and every child currently in the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI).

One dad told the Manchester Evening News that his daughter was "absolutely delighted" with the kind gift, describing the singer as "a wonderful human." “As I understand it she’s given every child in the hospital a voucher," said Steve, whose daughter is receiving treatment at MRI. “I went to pick her up and she was so excited.

“It was in a little personalized box with no message on it and no note to say who it’s from."
