An artist has gone viral after he expertly reimagined a whole array of Disney characters as real-life people… And, as you can imagine, his adaptations of our favorite characters are completely magical.

The twenty-eight-year-old, from Finland, has been steadily creating life-like portraits of his favorite Disney characters throughout the last couple of years.

Starting with The Little Mermaid’s Ursula, Jirka’s portfolio began to grow.

“Back in 2011 I just randomly thought I’d challenge myself and have a little fun in Photoshop, and explore what the famous character of Ursula from The Little Mermaid could look like in real life,” he told Bored Panda.

“Since I grew up with a lot of these cartoon characters, the sense of nostalgia made it such a fascinating and fun personal project.”

“I’ve been inspired by the idea of re-envisioning these characters that we all know and love in a way I would imagine them to look like if they were ‘more real,’ while still staying somewhat true to their original designs.” Keep scrolling to see his marvelous work, and to see if your favorite character has been brought to life…

1. Ursula, The Little Mermaid.

Jirka’s debut project, the villainous sea witch, Ursula.

2. Ariel, The Little Mermaid.

Here, Jirka has perfectly reenvisioned Ariel’s vibrant red locks.

3. King Triton, The Little Mermaid.

An amazing portrayal of the king of the sea.

4. Prince Eric, The Little Mermaid.

Ariel’s very own prince charming, Eric, looks like your typical high school heartthrob here, doesn’t he?

5. Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty.

The princess doesn’t look too sleepy in this incredible portrait.

6. Prince Phillip, Sleeping Beauty.

Aurora’s savior looking very dapper here.

7. Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty.

In the live-action remake, Maleficent was expertly portrayed by Angelina Jolie… But here, she is all the more formidable.

8. Alice, Alice in Wonderland.

Here, Jirka has perfectly captured Alice’s youthful and curious nature.

9. Belle, Beauty & The Beast.

Here we have the bookworm, Belle, who looks uncannily like her real-life actress, Emma Watson.

10. Gaston, Beauty & The Beast.

The real beast of the movie, Gaston, looks even more smarmy, cocky, and arrogant in the flesh.

11. Prince Adam/The Beast, Beauty & The Beast.

Though we only get a snippet of what the Beast looks like in human form in the original movie, Jirka has provided us with the perfect replacement.

12. Aladdin, Aladdin.

The kindhearted street urchin, Aladdin, has been transformed into a handsome young man.

13. Princess Jasmine, Aladdin.

As expected, the elegant Princess Jasmine is just as gorgeous in real life as she is in the cartoon.

14. Jafar, Aladdin.

This sinister Royal Vizer looks all the more menacing in real life.

15. Cassim, King of thieves, Aladdin.

Aladdin’s father, Cassim, has been spectacularly brought to life.

16. Pocahontas, Pocahontas.

This show was based around the story of a real native American woman named Pocahontas… And here, her legacy lives on in this beautiful portrait.

17. Chief Powhatan, Pocahontas.

Chief Powhatan was the formidable leader of more than 30 tribes, and he fought valiantly against the English settlers. Here, his memory has been preserved perfectly.

18. John Smith, Pocahontas.

A very handsome, John Smith, might I add.

19. Moana, Moana.

Hawaiian adventurer, Moana, has been wonderfully rebirthed in this portrait, with her beach hair perfectly intact.

20. Merida, Brave.

The Scottish adventurist has been envisioned with all her beloved characteristics – Including that vibrant head of hair, of course.

21. Mulan, Mulan.

The fierce warrior, Mulan, looks beautifully elegant in her real-life portrait.

22. Captain Li Shang, Mulan.

If you ever fancied the cartoon version of Captain Shang, you were not alone.

23. Elsa, Frozen.

The ice queen looks especially frosty here… In a good way, of course.

24. Anna, Frozen.

How gorgeous is she?

25. Kristoff, Frozen.

Anna’s unlikely love interest, Kristoff, is surprisingly handsome in real-life…

26. Hercules, Hercules.

Greek mythology looks really good in real-life, doesn’t it?

27. Zeus, King of the Olympian Gods, Hercules.

Getting some pretty incredible silver fox vibes from Zeus, over here…

28. Megara, Hercules.

Hercules’ one true love, Meg, looks beautiful in purple.

29. Hades, Hercules.

Imagine being stuck in the underworld for eternity with this sinister-looking guy?

30. Cruella DeVille, 101 Dalmatians.

This is perhaps the most horrifyingly realistic portrayal of a Disney villain that I have ever laid my eyes on…

31. Cinderella, Cinderella.

The sadness in Cinderella’s eyes has been captured perfectly… Someone get that woman to the ball!

32. The Wicked Step-Sisters, Cinderella.

They are every bit as ghastly as I could have ever imagined… Though I feel that we all know a girl who looks a little like this.

33. Lady Tremaine/The Wicked Stepmother, Cinderella.

Now this is the generic image for “evil stepmother”, isn’t it?

34. Snow White, Snow White & The Seven Dwarves.

A young and fresh-faced Snow White gives off a beautiful English rose-esque glow.

35. The Evil Queen, Snow White & The Seven Dwarves.

She wouldn’t look out of place in a horror movie, would she?

36. And last but certainly not least…

Tarzan. Again, he’s looking remarkably handsome in the flesh, isn’t he? But that isn’t all. A different artist has been drawing people’s pets as Disney cartoons… And the results are astounding. Keep scrolling to see them for yourself…
