The last week has brought with it a rollercoaster of emotions as Trump announced his pick for Supreme Court, campaigned across the country, and tested positive for COVID. The latest update is both sad and unexpected. During a pro-Trump parade on Saturday, a gunman who appeared to be part of the parade opened fire.

It's just one month out from election day.

Across the country, supporters of President Trump took to their cars, boats, and vehicles to drive in parades as a show of support. But even as Trump's base waits for updates on his health, more tragedy hit at one of these parades.

In Ohio, a vehicle rally was taking place.

An individual driving a black pickup truck with Trump and American flags fired bullets into another vehicle. The condition of the occupants is currently unknown.

This incident follows a summer of already violent incidents between political groups.

From Republican concerns about Antifa, to Democratic condemnations of the Proud Boys, the past months have ramped up the tensions in the political arena and in the streets.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

However the entire incident casts a bigger shadow over a weekend that was already difficult for Trump supporters.

Less than 24 hours ago Trump was taken to hospital.

According to The Washington Post, "Trump is struggling with a low-grade fever, a cough, and nasal congestion, among other symptoms." Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told the press, "President Trump remains in good spirits, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day. Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days. President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the First Lady." Now his doctor has spoken out giving an update on his condition.

Since the news broke last night that Donald and Melania Trump have tested positive for coronavirus...

People have had a lot to say. Of course, some have been digging up the past, while others have been sending him well wishes.

But there's actually a huge concern surrounding the president and his most recent diagnosis...

via: Getty

Because according to experts, his risk of death is now very high.

Melania has given us an update on the President's health and it has shocked everyone.

Keep scrolling to see exactly what she had to say.

Now, it was only a few days ago that Trump took part in the first presidential debate.

Trump V Biden was never going to be a civilized affair, but the scenes that unfolded last night were nothing short of brutal.

Tensions between the candidates have been bubbling for some time now...

via: Getty

And, earlier this week, it seemed that their mutual feelings of resentment finally reached a boiling point.

And, in a moment many weren't expecting...

via: Getty

Biden suddenly lashed out at President Trump when he continued to speak over him.

While many have criticized Biden for his unprofessionalism...

Others have applauded the candidate, noting that he "said to Trump what they've been wanting to say for the last 4 years."

There were many eye-opening moments from the ninety-minute debate.

via: Getty

For example...

The president was grilled on the newly surfaced allegations regarding his income tax.

via: Getty

Asked if it was true that he paid just $750 in income tax in 2016, as reported by The New York Times last week, Trump said, without hesitation: "I paid millions of dollars in taxes, of income tax." Biden used this opportunity to ask for evidence of these tax payments, adding that Trump "takes advantage of the tax code."

Trump was also asked to condemn white supremacist groups...

But instead chose to focus on the left. He said: "Sure I'm willing to do that, but almost everything I see is from the left-wing. I'm willing to do anything. I want to see peace." And, when asked to give this group of people a name, he responded with "Proud Boys." Proud Boys, a neo-Nazi organization, appeared to use Trump's "stand back, stand by" call in a new logo posted on Telegram shortly after the debate.

The president did provide some good news with regards to a coronavirus vaccine, however.

When Biden pointed out that 200,000 Americans have died during the pandemic as a result of the President's "lack of plan", Trump retaliated by insisting that "millions would have died if Biden was in charge." He then added that the US is "weeks away" from a vaccine, and his administration had done a "great job."

Biden's son, Hunter, was then dragged back into the firing line.

The President brought up Biden's son, claiming the mayor of Moscow's wife gave him millions of dollars and raising questions over his links with Ukraine. He also mentioned Hunter's drug problems.

Clearly, his words about Hunter hit a nerve with Biden.

"His family we can talk about all night," Biden clapped back, adding that "it's hard to get any word in with this clown - excuse me, this person". The pair also clashed over Biden's now-deceased son, Beau, and his military service.

The insults continued to flow.

"Everything he's saying here is simply a lie, everybody knows he's a liar," Biden said during an exchange about healthcare. He also called Trump "the worst president this country has ever had."

And, of course, President Trump didn't take them quietly.

via: Getty

Not to be outdone, Trump got in plenty of digs as well, firing at his opponent: "There's nothing smart about you Joe. Forty-seven years, you've done nothing."

But, out of their many valiant attempts to slander one another...

via: Getty

There was one moment that stood out amongst the rest.

Now, not everyone was too impressed...

With many finding the moment to be "unprofessional" on Biden's part.

However, on the other hand...

People have found a whole new level of respect for Biden, and have even called his words the "highlight" of the evening.

Because, as you may have already heard...

via: Getty

Biden actually told the president to "shut up."

Yep, it's something many dream of doing one day.

The moment came during the first segment of the debate on the topic of the Supreme Court and people were living for it, to say the least.

But now, news has come in that could put Trump's future leadership in jeopardy.

via: Getty

It has been confirmed that the President and his First Lady have been infected with the virus that has already killed 208,000 Americans and devastated the economy.

Trump tweeted this last night...

It has also been confirmed that the president has mild symptoms of the virus too.

They are now self-isolating...

And floods of well-wishes for the President and First lady have been pouring in from all around the world.

But on the other hand, lots of angry and spiteful messages have been thrown at the pair following their diagnosis.

Even though the virus has a fairly steady survival rate...

Seventy-four-year-old President Trump is actually in the high-risk category.

The statistics speak for themselves.

via: Getty

According to CDC statistics, patients between the ages of sixty-five and seventy-four are 5 times more likely to be hospitalized with COVID-19 than someone aged eighteen to twenty-nine.

This means that patients of Trump's age have ninety times greater chance of death than others...

via: Getty

Which isn't at all good news for the President.

The First Lady's update on the situation gave some people hope.

via: Getty

She tweeted from her official FLOTUS account telling us all that she and her husband are both in "good health."

Here's the official post:

She wrote: "As too many Americans have done this year, @potus & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together."

In the aftermath of being admitted to hospital, Trump himself tweeted about his condition.

The president was keen to keep his followers up to date on his recovery from the deadly virus.

He shared one tweet.

In which he claimed that himself and the First Lady are doing well.

More specifically Trump wrote:

Going welI, I think! Thank you to all. LOVE!!!

People are delighted that the president is doing well.

And despite only being posted a few hours ago, the tweet has more than half a million likes already.

There are countless comments too.

With many wishing Trump all the best, and others wishing him quite the opposite.

But if you didn't believe Trump's tweet.

His doctor also spoke out yesterday claiming that the president was doing well.

The doctor, Navy Commander Sean P. Conley, initially said:

This evening I am happy to report that the president is doing very well.
He added that the president is 'resting comfortably'.

"He is not requiring any supplemental oxygen."

The house minority leader also gave an update, saying that they had spoken to Trump over the phone and that he was upbeat and pleased for all of the prayers and well wishes from fans and supporters.

“Our president is strong and will beat the virus!"

Trump's expected to stay in hospital, regardless of his condition, for the next couple of days, so that they can monitor and keep a close eye on him.

Trump's physician gave another update earlier today.

Speaking in Maryland, where the hospital where Trump is staying is located, the doctor revealed that Trump is doing well.

Speaking to press, Conley explained that Trump is doing very well.

He began his speech, thanking all of the doctors, and sending thanks from the president to all those who have wished him well and prayed for him.

He then said that the president is doing 'very well'.

He added that Trump is in 'good spirits', and that he is not receiving oxygen and has not had a fever for the past 24 hours. As always though, the president is still being monitored 'very closely'.

Take a look at the speech below.

Trump himself was quoted saying that he feels he could walk out of the hospital right now.

But people noticed something seemingly sinister.

In his speech, Dr. Conley said Trump was diagnosed 72 hours ago, which means Wednesday. But Trump was still reportedly active on Wednesday and Thursday and even held a fundraiser with hundreds of people.

People called him out online.

Countless people online slammed the president, accusing him of putting hundreds of people at risk of contracting COVID-19 from him. One person wrote:
Your doctor said you were diagnosed Wednesday morning. That means you went to your Bedminster fundraiser and likely infected multiple people after you knew you had the virus. You are a monster!
Another wrote:
Trump's own doctor just said that Trump was diagnosed with COVID Wednesday morning. Trump held a fundraising event in NJ on Thursday - including hosting a small private roundtable discussion & taking pictures with donors - KNOWING he had COVID. Disgraceful.

Conley later came out and claimed the comment was a mistake.

Not too long after the initial statement, a press release emerged which claimed Trump was actually diagnosed 48 hours previous.

We wish the President and the First Lady a speedy recovery.

Get well soon.
