Now, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have become Hollywood’s most loved couple. Marriage goals or what?!

  via Getty Images

Ashton and Mila met in 1998 when they both starred on That 70’s Show, in which Ashton played the leading role of pretty boy, Kelso, and Mila played his on-and-off girlfriend, Jackie.

Ashton was twenty-years-old, whilst Mila was only fifteen.

But this wasn’t where their romance blossomed, at all.

After appearing in the hit show the 2 went their separate ways for many years.

Ashton married actress, Demi Moore, in 2005, and the marriage lasted 6 years. On the other hand, Mila had a long and rather rocky relationship with child-star, Macaulay Culkin, of Home Alone, which began in 2002 and lasted for 8 years.

When That 70’s Show came to an end, Ashton and Mila had apparently forged an enduring friendship, despite the 2 of them having separate professional and love lives.

Ashton appeared in movies such as What Happened In Vegas (2008), No Strings Attached (2011), and his recurring role in the comedy series, Two And A Half Men (2011-2015). Mila focused on her acting career, too, starring in movies such as Black Swan (2010), Friends With Benefits (2011), and doing the voiceover of Meg in Family Guy (1999-present).

They kept crossing paths.

Ashton’s marriage to Demi Moore came to an end in 2011, whilst Mila was single from her break-up with Macaulay in the previous year. Good timing? I think so…

Because they appeared together in public multiple times.

The world began suspecting the couple’s involvement with one another, and when asked about it, Mila simply said that the dating rumors were “absurd” and that they were just good friends. Okay then…

But that quickly changed.

Speaking to Elle Magazine, Ashton stressed the importance of keeping relationships private, saying: “I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship be private.”

But soon the pressure of being in the public eye got too much…

Mila admitted to her and Ashton beginning their relationship as a “friends with benefits” kind of thing until their romance eventually blossomed into what it is today.

And they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Ashton and Mila welcomed their daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, in September 2014, and their son, Dimitri, followed in 2016. Between the births of their 2 children, now aged 5 and 8, they tied the knot in July of 2015.

Ashton and Mila have been known to keep their personal lives extremely private.

They haven’t subjected their children to social media or the limelight, and have only made a rare couple of appearances with Wyatt and Dimitri.

They are raising their children in a normal, down-to-earth way, and despite their collective net worth of millions, the couple wants their children to not be spoiled…

And, as Mila once said, she doesn’t want to raise “a**holes.”

It appears that Ashton and Mila are better than ever.

And we love to see it!

But recently Ashton has shared something traumatic that happened to him…

  via Getty Images

And it definitely put their relationship to the test.

In a clip of National Geographic’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Kutcher opened up that he was “lucky to be alive.”

After suffering from a rare autoimmune disorder.

He told Grylls…

“Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis that, like, knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out, like, all my equilibrium.

“It took me like a year to build it all back up.”

He added that: “You don’t really appreciate it until it’s gone.

“Until you go, ‘I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to see again, I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to hear again, I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to walk again.’

  via Getty Images

“[I’m] lucky to be alive.”

Ashton continued: “The minute you start seeing your obstacles as things that are made for you, to give you what you need, then life starts to get fun, right?

  via Getty Images

“You start surfing on top of your problems instead of living underneath them.”

You can watch the clip here.

Since then, Ashton and Mila have been making headlines for his personal life even more…

This time for a bizarre hygiene habit!

“We have no closed doors in our house and that includes the bathroom,” Mila told E! News.

  via Getty Images

“It’s just one of those where, for better or for worse, as a family and the kids have all kind of embodied bodily function as a very standard norm.”

“I’d never thought that I would be the person that was able to go to the bathroom with the door open.”

But shockingly, it wasn’t this strange admission that got people talking…

Mila and Ashton have shocked fans after admitting they don’t buy their kids Christmas gifts.

  via Getty Images

Which is arguably even more bizarre than leaving the bathroom door open.

You’d think that the high earners would at least treat their kids to some presents over the holiday season, but it seems they’ve put strict rules in place.

Speaking to ET Online, Mila said: “So far, our tradition is no presents for the kids.

“We’re instituting it this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn’t really matter.

  via Getty Images

“Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much. We didn’t give her anything — it was the grandparents. The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff.”

She also revealed that she’s asked their grandparents to go easy on the gift giving too.

  via Getty Images

“We’ve told our parents, ‘We’re begging you — if you have to give her something, pick one gift. Otherwise, we’d like to take a charitable donation, to the Children’s Hospital or a pet, whatever you want.’ That’s our new tradition.”

And now, the parents have landed in the spotlight with their tactics yet again.

But this time, it gets speedy!

Ashton is known for his love of running, and Mila has now opened up about how this is transferring to their kids.

  via Getty Images

She shared the news while speaking to People.

“They’re going to start,” explained the actress.

  via Getty Images

“They want to run a 5K and today he started training our kids to run. They did a half-mile run today. It’s very cute.”

Talking about Ashton’s marathon, the star said: “He did awesome.

  via Getty Images

“It’s amazing for kids to watch their parents go through it, because it’s not easy. It takes a toll on your body, and so our kids got to see him overcome all of this. It was very cool.”

However, Mila did admit she was not going to be joining the rest of her family in training!

More recently, Kutcher has opened up about his health scare.

He admitted that Kunis played a key role in his recovery.

  via Getty Images

The actor, who first revealed his health struggle during an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge in August, suffered from a rare form of autoimmune disease vasculitis.

The disease occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own blood vessels, causing inflammation and narrowing in the vessels.

  via Getty Images

“I woke up one day and was having vision issues, could hardly see,” he revealed during a candid conversation with his physician for the premiere episode of Paramount Plus’ The Checkup with Dr. David Agus.

“Knocked out my hearing, which threw off my equilibrium, my balance and I couldn’t walk,” Kutcher explained.

  via Getty Images

Following his long battle with the disease, Kutcher has made impressive progress.

As for how Kutcher was able to make such progress, he had 1 person to thank…

  via Getty Images

“I will say, your wife was amazing,” Dr. David Agus said. “Just curled up there by your side. It was a beautiful thing to watch.”

And now, Kutcher has opened up about something else entirely…

  via Getty Images

His twin brother, Michael’s health issues.

In Paramount+’s The Check Up with Dr. David Agus, Kutcher sat down with his brother to have a deep conversation about their lives.

  via Getty Images

Michael lives with cerebral palsy, and Kutcher revealed that when he was younger he would go to extremes to ensure his brother was safe.

He did everything a brother would do, including standing up to Michael’s bullies…

  via Getty Images

But things changed when it was revealed that Michael needed a heart transplant, he was given just 4 weeks to live at the time.

This news pushed Kutcher to the edge, and he shared that he was willing to die to save his brother.

  via Getty Images

“I’m thinking to myself, ‘If anyone’s a match, I’m a match,’” Kutcher shared. “Now you start running that cycle through your head. You’re like, ‘This balcony looks far enough to take things.’”

“I think standing on the balcony going, ‘I’m a match’, that moment is probably the exact moment the shift took place,” he added.

  via Getty Images

“Where I’m like, ‘How do I get to be this lucky? And my brother to be born with cerebral palsy, then have a heart transplant.'”

Dr. Agus then said: “Ashton went to his parents and said, ‘Take my heart.’ He said it truthfully. He really wanted to give it to his brother.”

Thankfully, they found a donor, and Michael was given a new heart.
