Barack Obama isn't afraid to make some big statements and in Miami recently he absolutely roasted Donald Trump.

Obama is campaigning for Biden and Harris and speaking in Florida he completely destroyed the current president, comparing him to Florida Man.

Keep scrolling to check out what he had to say.

Those who watched Obama at the drive-in rally in Philadelphia will be well aware that he didn't hold back.

The former president passionately supported his former vice president's bid for the presidency, while massively criticizing Trump on several topics. But speaking in Miami last night he really let loose.

In Philly it was the first event Obama attended on the campaign trail in support of Joe Biden.

And viewers watched open-mouthed as Obama ripped into his successor.

It was one of the most ferocious arguments made against Trump's reelection.

And defied a longstanding norm that presidents don’t criticize their successors.

And, of course...

Until now, Obama had largely refrained from commenting on Trump’s performance.

But all of that went out of the window.

And he well and truly unleashed on the president.

Obama dealt Trump several blows throughout the speech.

And here's some of the most savage comments he made.

First off, Obama accused Trump of treating his presidency like a "reality show."

"He hasn't shown any interest in doing the work or helping anybody but himself and his friends," Obama said. "Or treating the presidency like a reality show that he can use to get attention. And by the way, even then, his TV ratings are down, so you know that upsets him. But the thing is this is not a reality show, this is reality."

Obama then claimed that Trump has a "secret" Chinese bank account...

And spoke about how he would be treated if he'd done the same thing. "How is that possible? A secret Chinese bank account? Can you imagine if I had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for re-election? Do you think Fox News might've been a little concerned about that? They would've called me 'Beijing Barry'."

This comes after it was revealed, as per the BBC, that Trump paid nearly $200,000 worth of income tax in China...

But just $750 in income taxes in the US in 2016 and 2017.

The former president also took a swipe at Trump's handling of the US economy.

Obama slammed Trump for the economy's deterioration under his leadership, stating that Trump is the "first president since Herbert Hoover to actually lose jobs." He then went on to say Trump took "full credit for the economy that he inherited and zero blame for the pandemic he ignored."

He didn't stop there, either.

Obama raised the point that more jobs were created in the Obama administration's final 3 years than in the first 3 years of the Trump administration.

Obama also slammed Trump's past business failures.

"He did inherit the longest streak of job growth in American history, but just like everything else he inherited, he messed it up," the former president said.

The former president then moved his attention to Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

via: Getty Images

"We literally left this White House a pandemic playbook that would have shown them how to respond before the virus reached our shores. They probably used it to, I don't know, prop up a wobbly table somewhere."

He of course then weighed in on Trump's positive coronavirus test...

“Donald Trump isn’t suddenly going to protect all of us. He can’t even take the basic steps to protect himself."

He continued...

“Other countries are still struggling with the pandemic, but they’re not doing as bad as we are because they have governments that have actually been paying attention. That means lives lost. That means an economy that doesn’t work. Just yesterday, when asked if he’d do anything differently, Trump said not much. Really? Not much? Nothing you can think of that could have helped some people keep their loved ones alive?"

“I get that this president wants full credit for the economy he inherited and zero blame for the pandemic he ignored," Obama said.

“But you know what, the job doesn’t work that way. Tweeting at the television doesn’t fix things. Making stuff up doesn’t make people’s lives better."

Obama then ripped into Trump for his behavior as president.

"[With Joe Biden], you're not going to have a president that goes out of his way to insult anybody who doesn't support him or threaten them with jail," he said. "That's not normal presidential behavior."

"We wouldn't tolerate it from a high school principal. We wouldn't tolerate it from a coach. We wouldn't tolerate it from a co-worker."

In his next aim at Trump, the former president encouraged voters to recognize the consequences of Trump's actions over the past 4 years.

"They embolden other people to be cruel and divisive and racist, and it frays the fabric of our society," he said.

"And it affects how our children see things, and it affects the ways our families get along. It affects how the world looks at America. That behavior matters. Character matters."

But one line from the entire speech really caught people's attention...

via: Getty Images

"And with Joe and Kamala at the helm, you're not going to have to think about the crazy things they said every day. And that's worth a lot. You're not going to have to argue about them every day. It just won't be so exhausting."

This isn't something Obama has just plucked out of thin air...

According to CNN, two-thirds of Americans in a late 2019 Pew poll said they felt "worn out" by the amount of news there is, roughly the same as the sixty-eight percent who said the same the previous year.

And this is not purely a partisan thing...

Seventy-five percent of self-identified Republicans and Republican leaners said they felt "worn out" by all of the news while fifty-nine percent of Democrats and Democratic leaners said the same thing.

But Obama didn't stop there.

Speaking in Miami last night, Obama kept his comedic antics high and even likened Trump to Florida Man.

Speaking about Trump. Obama said:

Florida Man wouldn't even do this stuff. Why are we accepting this from a president of the United States? It's not normal behavior.

Obama added that the current pandemic would've been tough for any president.

However he did continue, saying that his government literally left a 'playbook' behind on how to deal with this scenario.

More specifically, Obama said:

We literally left this White House a pandemic playbook on how to respond before a pandemic reached our shores. It must be lost — they can't find it.

Obama may not be president anymore.

But to many people, he's still a total comedian.
