From the fall of 2018 to the summer of 2019, her Instagram followers reportedly jumped from 850,000 to over four million, popularizing the “e-girl” aesthetic.
In 2019, Delphine gained wider notoriety after creating a satirical Pornhub account and selling “GamerGirl Bath Water” through her online store.

Delphine was recently a guest on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where she revealed all of her earnings through selling the bath water.

Belle says that she managed to sell 600 units in total, which made her $18,000 in bathwater sales.

“The internet’s a strange place,” she admitted on the podcast.

“But it was definitely a moment where, for whatever reason, it became quite a big news story,” Delphine continued.
“I think it’s quite interesting because it’s the whole conversation about a girl capitalizing on something very strange.”

The 24-year-old went on to say that she found the reaction from the public to be quite interesting.

“I think a lot of people found it funny because there’s so many questions that come from it,” she explained.

“It’s like, oh, is the bathwater real? Why did she think of this?” she continued.
“Who’s buying it and what are they doing with it?”

Delphine also went on to reveal where she actually got the inspiration for the idea from.

“Obviously the sexual aspects of it also is very clickable, but where I got inspiration from it was I knew that Japan has panty vending machines,” Belle admitted.

Though her Instagram account was previously banned, she made a new one in 2020, which now has over three million followers.
