Actor Ben Stiller has spoken out after critics call for Donald Trump to be cut from Zoolander.

Although, his cameo in Zoolander has stirred up some controversy, with Ben Stiller being forced to speak out.

Yep, long before he resided in the White House and brushed shoulders with powerful dictators like Kim Jong Un, Donald Trump was leading a rather different life.

And he eventually took control of the company – which he renamed the Trump Organization – in 1971.

And, with a “small loan of $1 million” in 1975 from his father, Trump was able to transform his family’s modest real-estate business into a multi-million dollar empire.

Gradually, he shifted his family’s business from residential units in Brooklyn and Queens to glamourous and outlandish Manhattan projects.

Trump Place, Trump World Tower, Trump International Hotel and Tower, and so on. There are even Trump Towers in Mumbai, Istanbul, and the Philippines.

Trump became involved with a number of high profile figures, ultimately putting him in the A-lister rankings.

And an unstoppable force, with that.

I don’t think any of us ever did.

We all remember his cringe-worthy Pizza Hut commercial in 1995, where he could be seen talking seductively with an attractive blonde woman before taking a large, sensual bite out of the pizza… Crust first.

“A Big ‘n Tasty for just a dollar? How do ya do it? What’s your secret?” Yeah, we won’t be forgetting that line in a hurry.

The President has featured a number of famous movies.

He’s also featured in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air among others.

The scene shows Trump walking through the Plaza Hotel in New York City – which he owned at the time – as actor Macaulay Culkin’s character stops him to ask for directions.

For some, it was the moment they’d been waiting for.

Stiller’s hit 2001 comedy features a brief cameo from the President, with many calling on the star to erase Trump from the flick.

“We were shooting at the now-defunct VH1 Fashion Awards … and as people were coming up the red carpet, we pulled them aside and asked them to talk about Derek Zoolander, and so Trump and Melania did that,” he said.

But his response is something not everyone will want to hear.

“I’ve had people reach out to me and say, ‘You should edit Donald Trump out of “Zoolander,” he says. “But at the end of the day, that was a time when that exists and that happened.”

“There were so many movies [back then] that had a silly cameo from Donald Trump. “He represented a certain thing.” So, it looks like fans of Zoolander will just have to put up with Trump’s cameo.
