President Joe Biden was seen picking up a toy for the daughter of the late Capitol officer William Evans, and everyone is sharing their thoughts on what Trump would have done.

The video has left people in tears…

A car came speeding onto Capitol grounds.

The man struck 2 officers nearby, killing officer William Evans and leaving another hospitalized.

Police fatally shot the attacker, twenty-five-year-old Noah Green.

This time, it wasn’t down to an angry Trump mob, but a single man, armed with a knife…

Who had recently told friends he had left his job and had “afflictions,” before setting off to kill.

“It is with a very, very heavy heart that I announce one of our officers has succumbed to his injuries,” Yogananda D. Pittman, the acting Capitol Police chief, said during a news conference.

“This has been an extremely difficult time for U.S. Capitol Police, after the events of Jan. 6 and now the events that have occurred here today.”

And now President Joe Biden has paid tribute to William “Billy” Evans during a ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda.

Evans served for eighteen years on the agency’s First Responders Unit.

His body is lying in honor in the Rotunda, which is unheard of for a private citizen.

Biden said Evans was defined “by his dignity, his decency his loyalty, and his courage.”
“He was the one who always kept his word,” Biden said. “If he said he’d be there, he’d be there.”

But it was what Biden did for Evan’s daughter that got the internet all choked up…

A small moment of kindness showed Biden picking up a toy dropped by Evans’ daughter during the ceremony.

While Nancy Pelosi was speaking, President Biden got out of his chair and returned the small toy to Abigail Evans.

Immediately people were pointing out the difference between Biden and former president Trump…

“A greater compliment does no one have than the President of the United States looking after your toys,” Pelosi said.

Biden then spoke in Evans’ honor, channelling his own experience with grief…

“My prayer for all of you is that a day will come when you have that memory and you smile before you bring a tear to your eyes,” he said.

“I promise you it’s going to come. It just takes a while.”
“Your son, your husband, your brother, your dad was a hero. And he’s part of you. It’s in your blood. My prayer for you is that moment of a smile comes before the tear, quicker, then longer.”

Biden then concluded his speech…

With some private words to Evans’ family.
