Now, the run-up to Biden's inauguration has been a tense one, to say the least.

Since his election victory on November 7th, our country has experienced political tensions like never before.

Most people argue that Biden's win was a fair one...

After 4 long days of vote counting - and plenty of recounting - the Democrat was projected as the forty-sixth President of the United States.

However, people on the other side of the political spectrum have been arguing otherwise.

President Trump instantly attacked Biden's win with several unproven accusations of electoral fraud - and, of course, his loyal supporters added fuel to the flames with gusto.

But, on January 6th, enraged pro-Trumpers took matters into their own hands.

After repeated instructions by the president to "fight for the White House," hundreds of his supporters stormed the U.S Capitol...

During which a joint session of Congress had convened to formally count the Electoral College votes and certify Joe Biden's election win.

Things quickly became violent...

And the world watched on, horrified, as the building was overtaken and vandalized by the rioters.
