Joe Biden has already made significant changes to Trump's policies, but one change revolves around a certain button on the Oval Office desk...
A Diet Coke button, to be specific.
Yep, it really was a thing. In fact, Trump had even been questioned on it during a previous interview...
The news comes immediately after President Biden has stepped into his new role.
It’s a new day in America.

Now, Wednesday was a momentous day for our country.
After a fifty-year-long political career, Joe Biden was officially sworn is as the forty-sixth President of the United States.
Of course, his pre successor, Donald Trump, didn't attend the ceremony.
He confirmed his absence in a tweet earlier this month before being banned from Twitter.
Instead, Trump left Washington D.C on Air Force One first thing Wednesday morning...
And headed for the Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida.
But regardless of Trump's controversial absence, the inauguration went ahead smoothly...
And the entire world watched on as President Biden and his vice president, Kamala Harris, made their way through the sacred ceremony.
Biden's swearing-in was an emotional moment for many Americans...
And it signalled a whole new era for our country.
And of course...

How can we not mention Lady Gaga's performance of the national anthem?!
Biden's first speech as president struck a chord with viewers, too.
The new president gave a lengthy and emotional speech, where he addressed the deeply divided nation on what the next 4 years will hold under his ruling.
Biden promised to "write an American story of hope"...
As well as weighing in on the devastating effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the issue of racial inequality across the country.
"Millions of jobs have been lost. Hundreds of thousands of businesses closed. A cry for racial justice, some 400 years in the making, moves us. The dream of justice for all will be deferred no longer. A cry for survival comes from the planet itself, a cry that can't be any more desperate or any more clear now."
He also became the first POTUS to ever challenge white supremacy in his inauguration speech.
He said this:
"The rise of political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism, that we must confront and we will defeat. To overcome these challenges, to restore the soul and secure the future of America, requires so much more than words. It requires the most elusive of all things in a democracy - unity."
Most can agree that Biden's speech was nothing short of phenomenal...
And one that captured the hearts of the nation.
However, it seems that not everyone was too moved by it.
A day on from Biden's groundbreaking speech, footage has started circulating that allegedly shows former POTUS, Bill Clinton, nodding off in the audience next to his wife, Hilary Clinton.
But we'll let that slide for now.

It seems as though Biden is already finding comfort in his new role.
The president has wasted no time getting to work...
From assigning new leaders to making sure the team around him is filled with strong candidates, Biden is ready to implement all the changes he needs to in order to ensure a powerful administration.
And there's one thing, in particular, that Biden was eager to change...
I was today years old when I found out about Trump's Diet Coke button in the Oval Office.

It has been noted that Biden doesn't have former president Trump's Diet Coke button on his desk.
Yep, it might sound like a joke, but Trump did in fact have a box on his desk specifically for that purpose...
When pressed a member of staff would bring a glass of Diet Coke on a silver platter.
The existence of the box was revealed back in 2017...
My biggest fear was that tRump was going to hit the wrong button when he wanted a Diet Coke....

😱
When journalist Julie Pace wrote: "Midway through my interview with President Donald Trump, he reached over and pressed a red button on his desk in the Oval Office
"It didn't trigger a nuclear launch or send advisers scurrying into the room.
"Instead, a White House butler walked in with a single glass of Diet Coke on a silver tray for the commander in chief."
Times Radio's Tom Newton Dunn was one of the first to realize Biden had removed it...
President Biden has removed the Diet Coke button. When @ShippersUnbound and I interviewed Donald Trump in 2019, we became fascinated by what the little red button did. Eventually Trump pressed it, and a butler swiftly brought in a Diet Coke on a silver platter. It's gone now. pic.twitter.com/rFzhPaHYjk

Trump was asked about the box in a 2018 interview when a reporter questioned if it would unleash a nuclear weapon...
Surreal to see Biden in the Oval Office, already at work, & the Diet Coke button seems to have been removed...Nevertheless, let the Undoing-Trump’s-Disaster Executive Orders begin!

Trump responded saying: "No no, everyone thinks it.
"Everyone does get a little nervous when I press that button."
It seems as though Biden is more of a Pepsi guy himself. Keep scrolling for more...
