Biden's Dogs Enjoy Snow Day at The White House | 22 Words

After moving in just a short while ago, President Biden's adorable pooches are clearly enjoying White House life.

Read on to see the adorable images of their recent snow day...

As we all know, President Biden has been dominating global headlines for the last few weeks...

But he isn't the only one who people have been talking about!

His dogs have also been dominating the headlines...

Champ and Major have well and truly captured hearts all around the world.

And now, they've finally moved into the White House...

And adorable pics have surfaced showing how much they're both enjoying the snow.

Just a few weeks ago, one of Joe Biden's dogs - 2-year-old Major - was honored in an "Indoguration..."

Hosted by Delaware Humane Association and Pumpkin Pet Insurance.

The event was hosted by NBC Today Show's Jill Martin who explained that Major couldn't attend the Indoguration as "he and Champ are hard at work in preparation for their big move this week."

The event even gave participants the chance to nominate their animals for a position in Major's cabinet.

Singer Josh Groban closed the show with a performance of Patti Page's 1952 hit "(How Much Is) That Doggie In The Window?"

Rewriting the lyrics to say "I'm adopting that doggie in the window."

Offering his congratulations, Groban said, "Many animals have been in the White House but Major Biden will be the first rescue dog in the White House, which is why we're here."

He also added, "In this crazy, insane, divided world, we need animals to bring us together."

US Today reported that Stephanie Shain, the chief operating officer for the regional sheltering organization Humane Rescue Alliance, said, "Why not a rescue? Why not a shelter?"

"There remains a lot of misconceptions about animals in shelters still today and the biggest hurdle animals in shelters face is getting people in front of them."

The ceremony also included a video of the day Biden officially adopted Major from the shelter and videos of animals at DHA waiting to find a forever home...

Which was very cute, we must say.

And now, both pups are living the life of luxury...

Major and his older brother, twelve-year-old Champ, have finally moved into the White House.

Last week, some adorable snaps courtesy of the White House and Biden's photographer, Adam Schultz, were posted online of the dogs frolicking on their new (and very big) lawn...

And the return of these 4-legged friends is a step back to tradition due to Trump being the only president in a century to not have pets in the White House.

The first lady's press secretary said to TMZ:

"Champ is enjoying his new dog bed by the fireplace and Major loved running around on the South Lawn."

Way too cute!

And now, adorable images of the pair playing in the snow at the White House have emerged...

On Sunday, they were photographed enjoying their time in the snow on the White House South Lawn...

In a tweet shared by the president's granddaughter, Naomi Biden.

In the snap, Major can be seen running around the grounds while Champ took it easy, laying in the snow.

"Snow day!!!," Naomi captioned the sweet post.

It's amazing how settled they look in their new home.

Champ is definitely deserving of the rest.

They officially moved into the White House on January twenty-fourth...

Just 4 days after Biden's inauguration.

And both Champ and Major have made their presence known at their new home...

As you can hear in the background of this press conference from the Oval Office.

Dr. Biden has also hinted that she and the president may be looking into getting a cat in the future...

"Well, I'd love to get a cat. I love having animals around the house," she told Fox in November.

I don't know how Champ and Major would feel about that...

But we are sure they will be very happy in their new home for the next 4 years!
