Kids ‘Traumatized’ After Parents Hire ‘Bigfoot’ for Daughter’s Birthday Party

Some Oklahoma children have been left utterly traumatized following a surprise of a lifetime for a 6th birthday party.

The birthday girl’s mother, Brett, told 2 News Oklahoma that when it comes to birthdays, as a family they love to go all out with their parties which usually involve fancy cakes and dressing up.

However, when this year’s plans for the birthday cake had fallen through, Brett and her husband had to improvise and they decided to do it in the best way possible. They invited a makeshift “Bigfoot” to the party, however, it severely backfired and initially terrified the young partygoers.

The video shows Bigfoot holding balloons and wearing a blue tutu peering into the window when the children all begin screaming and crying amongst the adult laughter. The children cower at the back of the room when Bigfoot emerges.

As proof of approachability, the parents begin to approach the beast, hugging him and laughing while they all donned party hats.

The video was posted to TikTok, however, what was initially thought to be a fun birthday event soon turned into a scene from a horror movie with children’s screams. It all seemed to end well though, as the video finishes with some photos of the children smiling with the mythical beast.

“We just thought, I mean she came with balloons and a bow and a tutu, so I thought ‘oh this will be cute and fun’,” Brett said. “Well, my kids did not have that reaction. They hit the ground like a tornado was coming. It was like they were on fire or something.”

Mrs. Bigfoot, also known as Cinnamon, rocked a blue tutu with a matching bow in her hair, though it wasn’t until the parents had hugged her did the children warm up to her.

“They all ended up hugging her and taking fun pictures with her, really fun, cute pictures at the end,” Brett said. “I would just recommend it for a good time because obviously by the video my kids thought so too.

“But they don’t want her to come back though.”

Would you ever hire a makeshift Bigfoot for your child’s birthday party?
