Donald Trump Jr Calls Kamala Harris 'Tone Deaf' | 22 Words

Following Vice President Kamala Harris' appearance at a women's empowerment event along with former POTUS Bill Clinton, people haven't been impressed...

Including Donald Trump Jr, who has slammed Harris as "tone deaf" for inviting Clinton to the event.

Read on to find out why...

Now, at fifty-six years old, Kamala Harris has achieved so much...

Getty

And she's truly inspirational to women all around the world.

As a strong member of the Democratic party, Harris has a rich background in politics and law...

And she served as the Senator of California from 2017 to 2021 and as the attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017.

She gained global recognition when she was confirmed last year as Joe Biden's running mate in the 2020 election...

And in November 2020, the world watched on in both joy and disbelief as Biden and Harris won the election - resulting in the notorious Republican Donald Trump serving only 1 term as president.

Harris officially became the Vice President of the United States on January 20th...

And it was a moment that made history.

Because, firstly, she's the first woman of color to ever officially enter the White House.

She's both African American and South Asian.

"Seeing her being prestigious, being strong, being black, being a woman? I feel change is coming," said Tanya Hudson, a Harlem resident.

"Just sitting here listening to my wife and daughters waxing poetic about Kamala Harris being the 1st woman Vice-President," agreed Twitter user @Wasanegg.

And secondly, she's the first-ever woman to be sworn into office who isn't the first lady.

Yep, no woman in our country's history has ever been sworn into the White House... never mind a woman of color!

And alongside making history, Harris has also taken on another role that's equally as important.

She's become a role model to millions of girls and young women all around the world.

Harris has proven that women can hold big positions and assert authority and power...

And she has been pushing for change in an attempt to make a huge difference in the world for so many young girls and women.

So, as you can see...

Vice-President Kamala Harris is a woman who's done so much for our country... and she's got so many plans for our future.

Harris, alongside President Biden, has been very busy since January 20th...

And they've both been working hard while settling into their new roles, including immediately reversing many of Donald Trump's former policies.

But among their millions of loyal supporters...

Getty

Come their critics and, of course, angry Trump supporters who are still feeling outraged over the outcome of the election.

But Harris has faced a lot of criticism this week following her women's empowerment event on Friday...

And it's all because she invited former POTUS Bill Clinton along to have a chat about women's rights and empowerment.

Now, Bill Clinton has been known in the past to have faced many sexual harassment allegations...

And he's previously denied 2 sexual harassment and r*pe allegations from 2 women, making him not exactly the ideal candidate to talk about women's rights and empowerment.

The event, hosted by the Clinton Foundation and Howard University, included speakers Bill and Hillary Clinton as well as their daughter Chelsea, Vice President Kamala Harris, Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, Stacey Abrams, and Wes Moore, among others.

Clinton and Harris were to focus on "the impact of Covid-19 on women, and empowering women and girls in the U.S and around the world," Politico reporter Christoper Cadelago said.

People weren't happy with the vice president for being involved with Clinton...

And she was called out online by a range of high-profile names for being "unethical" and "tone-deaf."

Rose McGowan was, of course, one of those names.

The actress is known for standing up strongly for the #MeToo movement and for women's rights all around the world and she isn't afraid to call out anyone.

McGowan, who has distanced herself from Hollywood by moving to Mexico last year amid the ongoing pandemic, took to Twitter to call Harris' participation in the event "obscene."

Getty

She condemned Harris for joining forces with Clinton, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women in the past.

She also called attention to the former president's rumored ties to late convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein...

Getty

Because back in December, Doug Band, a former confidante of Clinton's, claimed to Vanity Fair he took a 2003 trip to the "pedophile" island of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Clinton has, of course, denied visiting Epstein's island.

Here's McGowan's full tweet:

"This is obscene @KamalaHarris. You speaking with Bill Clinton about empowering women & girls is disgusting. Have you no soul? Have you no ethics? Ask him about being on an island of human trafficking victims twenty-seven times. You are showing us exactly who you are."

And now, Donald Trump Jr has had his say on the matter.

The son of the former - and very notorious - POTUS posted a video on Rumble - the video-sharing app - to rant about Harris' "big mistake," and he even went far enough to slam her as "tone-deaf."

"Bill Clinton empowering women? This gives me a lot more pause about Kamala Harris being in charge of the border because she clearly has no judgment."

Rumble

"She clearly has nothing going on in the brain. I mean Rose McGowan, of the #MeToo movement, said 'have you no soul or ethics to bring Bill Clinton into this'?" he said.

In similarity to McGowan, Trump Jr then brought up Clinton's alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Rumble

"This is how insane the Democrats are... this is how tone-deaf they are. This is why I wrote Liberal Privilege...I mean, Bill Clinton is most notably known for empowering perhaps his interns, folks. I can't think of any other women he has necessarily empowered. I can think of a lot of accusations that would probably make him not the right person for something like this."

"It's obscene that people would think that Bill Clinton is a champion of women," he added.

Rumble

"The #MeToo movement only exists for those who aren't high-powered Democrats. If you are Bill Clinton, you can get away with this stuff."

What do you think? Do you think it was appropriate for Harris to invite Clinton to the event? Or do you think it was relatively harmless?
