Billie Eilish had us all stunned after she showed up at the Met Gala in what has been described as a gorgeous "Marilyn Monroe-inspired" ballgown. And the pictures are nothing short of breathtaking...
Last night, the Met Gala played host to some of the best moments in fashion...
But out of all the celebrities that attended the prestigious event, one stood out amongst the rest... Nineteen-year-old Billie Eilish.
Dressed in a custom-made Oscar De La Renta classic, the "Happier Than Ever" singer channeled Old Hollywood to serve us this look on the golden carpet.
While I was heavily disappointed by Billie's VMAs look - that awful, black oversized jumper dress - she really pulled it back at the Met Gala. This gorgeous, peach, Oscar De La Renta tulle gown had us on our knees, and paired with thirty pieces of Cartier jewelry and a classic Marilyn Monroe hairstyle, we just couldn't get enough.
From head to toe, the look channeled the American beauty. The teen even managed to get the sultry facial expressions exact.
But the journey wasn't all plain sailing.
Eilish made her position known by telling the high-end fashion company that she would only agree to wear the dress if they went fur-free for the future. The proud vegan said that she could not commit to them if they did not do so.
But being as influential as she is, she managed to convince them.
Posting to her Instagram after the event, she thanked the company for "bringing her vision to life."
"Thank you @oscardelarenta for designing this BEAUTIFUL dress and bringing my ideas and vision to life. it was an honor to wear this dress knowing that going forward oscar de la renta will be completely fur-free!!!!"
"I am beyond thrilled that @fernandogarciam1205 and @tokibunbun and the entire team heard me on this issue, and have now made a change that makes an impact for the greater good, not only for animals but also for our planet and environment too. I'm honored to have been a catalyst and to have been heard on this matter. I urge all designers to do the same."
What an absolute icon.
