As Bindi gets closer and closer to her expected due date, the latest news is that she is reportedly planning to give birth at Australia Zoo.
It's certainly close to her heart.

You might have already heard...But Bindi Irwin is expecting her first child.
Ever since their announcement last month, fans of the young crocodile hunter have been besides themselves with excitement.
However, news and updates regarding her pregnancy have been scarce.
So, of course, Bindi has kept her pregnancy quite close to her chest...Well, until now, that is.
Now, Bindi has been in the public eye for quite some time...
Sadly, Steve passed away in 2006 from a stingray attack while filming in the Great Barrier Reef.And, at the young age of just 8-years-old, Bindi read out a eulogy during her dad's memorial service.
Now, over a decade after her father's death, Bindi continues to follow in her father's footsteps, along with the rest of her family...Terri, Bindi, and Robert have all worked hard to keep Steve's legacy alive through their important work at his pride and joy, Australia Zoo.
And as you'd expect, this is where Bindi met her now-husband, Chandler Powell.
They have now been together for almost 7 years.

Of course, Bindi's younger brother, Robert, was quick to offer his congratulations to the happy couple.
And earlier this year, the happy day finally arrived.
It was a small and private ceremony...
They had no guests due to coronavirus restrictions...
They got married in a secluded location where Steve used to regularly film...
They felt their wedding location was "meant to be"...Speaking to PEOPLE, Bindi said: "Where we got married was such a special place to dad. It’s a beautiful little area where he had filmed for many years. It felt really wonderful and just meant to be."
Steve was with them throughout the entire ceremony...
And for an added touch...
She has even kept her surname as a legacy to her dad.ET, Bindi said: "I’ve kept Bindi Irwin. I think that for me personally, after dad [Steve Irwin] passed away it was really important for me to feel close to him, and having his last name means so much to me."
And then, just 5 months on from their wedding...The couple came forward with yet another exciting announcement.

Well, Bindi took to Instagram recently to update fans on her pregnancy...
Sharing a photo of her and Chandler proudly holding a koala, a joey, and the photos from their sonogram, Bindi wrote:
Well not too long ago they confirmed it once and for all.Bindi and Chandler revealed the gender of their unborn child. In typical Irwin style, they didn't feel the need for an OTT gender reveal party and they simply took to Instagram to share the happy news... along with one of their favorite zoo animals, of course!
It's going to be a little girl!"Baby girl, you are our world. ❤️ Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year."
Comments of joy came flooding in for the young parents-to-be...Including brother Robert, who expressed his excitement over meeting his niece.
Chandler clearly can't wait to be a dad...And his love for Bindi and their daughter is truly beautiful.
Bindi took to Instagram to update her followers on the pregnancy.
"Every time we get an ultrasound she’s incredibly energetic and always moving around."
She’s now about the same size as a mountain pygmy-possum. Too cute!
Chandler himself commented on the post.The delighted husband and soon-to-be father, wrote:
She’s already growing up so fast and she hasn’t even arrived yet. I love you and our baby girl.
As we get closer and closer to Bindi's due date.Daily Mail, Bindi and Chandler plan on welcoming their baby somewhere very very special: Australia Zoo.
