Now, we all know that Trump doesn't have the best track record when it comes to his online behavior.

Following his 2020 election loss, Trump had been using his various social media platforms to passionately dispute the result and fuel his election fraud theories with gusto.

Many of his claims regarding this supposed election fraud had to be flagged by the platforms he was using...

But, otherwise, he was allowed to continue in his protesting.

However, following the events of January 6th, efforts to silence the scorned former president were doubled down.

A day on from the devastating riots at Capitol Hill, in which hundreds of pro-Trump supporters stormed the prestigious building, Facebook's vice president, Nick Clegg, announced that Trump's account would be suspended indefinitely.

Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, said at the time that "the risks of allowing the president to continue to use our service... are simply too great."

"We believe our decision was necessary and right," Clegg said in a statement. "Given its significance, we think it is important for the board to review it and reach an independent judgment on whether it should be upheld."

Twitter quickly followed suit.

Trump was initially locked out of his Twitter account for twelve hours after he called the people who stormed the US Capitol "patriots."

Twitter warned then that it would ban Trump "permanently" if he breached the platform's rules again.

But, after being allowed back on the site, Trump posted 2 tweets that the company cited as the final straws. In one, he wrote:

"The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape, or form!!!"

Following this news, a number of other social media platforms quickly announced their own bans for Trump...

Including Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitch, and Reddit.

For the first time in twelve years, Trump found himself without any online platform to vent and rant onto.

It's been a peaceful couple of months without any inflammatory, caps-locked Tweets, to say the least.

Many have been enjoying Trump's online absence...

And have found scrolling through Twitter without a whiff of his constant rants quite refreshing.

However, others have slammed Trump's wide-spread ban as a "disgrace"...

And have insisted that his censorship is a breach of his freedom of speech.

But, as the debate raged on, Trump wasted no time in revealing his plans to make an online comeback.

Last month, he gave his first post-presidency interview on Newsmax, his new favorite media outlet, where he made various claims about the impact his absence has had on the platforms.

Taking main aim at Twitter, Trump said:

"I'll tell you it's not the same when you look at what's going on with Twitter, I understand it's become very boring, and millions of people are leaving."

"They are leaving it because it's not the same. And I can understand that."

Whatever helps you sleep at night, Don.

And, without wasting any time, he moved on to discuss the future he has on social media.

The interviewer asked whether he would want to move to Parler, the "free speech" social media app, to which Trump explained he was keen but cautious that the app "mechanically can't handle" the amount of traffic that would happen if he joined.

So, the solution?

Well, he'd like to create his own social media platform, of course.

The former president toyed with the idea in the interview, explaining that a Trump-branded social-media platform to reach the millions of Republican voters with whom he is still extremely popular definitely isn't out of the question.

"There is also the other option of building your own site because we have more people than anybody. You can literally build your own site."

But, while we wait with bated breath for a Trump-branded social media platform to be born...

Donald and Melania's official post-presidency website has been launched instead.

The website, named, "will allow individuals to submit correspondence, scheduling requests, and press inquiries," the former first couple said in a statement Monday evening.

The pair added that they "are continually strengthened by the enduring spirit of the American people, and they look forward to staying in touch."

The description for the website reads:

"The Office of Donald J. Trump is committed to preserving the magnificent legacy of the Trump Administration, while at the same time advancing the America First agenda."

"Through this office, President Trump will remain a tireless champion for the hardworking men and women of our great country – and for their right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity, and peace."

And not only that... He and Melania are also doing some extracurricular activies.

Through the same site, you can also book both the husband and wife duo events.

Everything from birthdays to christenings, you can book them to show up whenever you want. Well, if they accept.

The news received mixed reactions from audiences, that's for sure...

The website doesn't say anything about how much the service costs, but we're expecting some pretty hefty fees...

"Due to the volume of invitations President and Mrs. Trump receive, we will not provide status updates," it says on the website.

It continues:

"Thank you for your interest in inviting Donald J. Trump or Melania Trump to participate in your event. In an effort to ensure that your invitation is received in a timely manner, it is strongly recommended that you submit your request using the form below."

So get booking if that's what you're into!
