He was only twenty-four-years-old.

The young man had already accomplished so much in his life...

And his future was looking unbelievably bright.

He was born on July 24th, 1995...

And as he grew up, his passion for sport became very clear.

Travell started his boxing training in his teens...

And his talent for the sport was inevitable.

He made his professional boxing debut on April 27, 2013, under the name Black Magic...

The young man scored a first-round technical knockout (TKO) victory over Ricky Young at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.

After compiling a record of 16–0...

He challenged for his first professional title - the vacant WBC-NABF super welterweight title - against Fernando Castañeda on January 11, 2020, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Travell stopped Castañeda in the first round...

He scored a knockout (KO) at fifty-eight seconds into the fight with a left hook to the body.

This was an incredible victory...

And Travell well and truly proved his capabilities in the ring.

He was supposed to celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday next week...

But tragedy struck yesterday evening.

The young boxer was involved in a car accident in Austin, Texas...

And he sadly lost his life in the collision.

Details surrounding the incident remain unclear...

But the crash is believed to have happened in the Cedar Lake area of Austin and is thought to have involved several vehicles.

The Austin – Travis County Emergency Medical Services described the location of the accident on social media...

And they confirmed that several people had to be rushed to the hospital, although authorities are yet to confirm any identities.

3 people have died in total...

Which is an utterly tragic loss.

Tributes have been flooding in for the young boxer...

And people have been left completely shaken by his sudden death.

Travell has been described as a "kind and motivated" person by those close to him...

And it's clear he will be missed deeply.

Professional boxer Vergil Ortiz Jr. also paid tribute, describing him as a "very talented boxer" and "one of the coolest people I know."

It's clear that Travell impacted a lot of lives.

The young man wanted to make a difference...

And he campaigned strongly against subjects such as gun violence here in America.

Fans have been taking to Travell's Facebook page to take comfort and send messages of condolence...

And the boxer's last ever Facebook post was a news story about a man who was charged with intoxicated manslaughter for a 2019 car crash that left a teenager dead.

He was passionate about serving justice for the young people of America...

And we can only imagine the great things he would have done if he had the chance.
