The actor attended the premiere of his latest movie, No Sudden Moves, in New York where fans were shocked to see that he had changed drastically since they last saw him.

The news comes just months after it was announced he would be starring in another movie called The Whale where he will be playing Charlie, a 600lbs recluse.

The film tells Charlie’s story of how he tries to reconnect with his teenage daughter after the pair lost contact due to the fact that he came out. But after his partner dies, he uses food to help cope with his overwhelming grief.

The movie will be directed by Darren Aronofsky with Samuel D Hunter, the man that wrote the original play the storyline is based on.

The release date has still not been announced yet, but fans are anticipating they’ll get a time in the next few months.

But not everyone was so understanding online.

Don’t worry though, his fans jumped into action to protect the idol from negative comments.

Fraser has previously spoken about how certain roles have impacted his health, with the actor being in and out of hospital for the best part of 7 years due to injuries he’s sustained from doing his own stunts.

In a GQ interview back in 2018, he said this: “By the time I did the third Mummy picture in China, I was put together with tape and ice. I was building an exoskeleton for myself daily.”

Fraser also revealed that there were several personal life events that meant he stayed out of the public eye while he came to terms with the new changes.

“I changed houses, I went through a divorce. Some kids were born. I mean, they were born, but they’re growing… I was going through things that mold and shape you in ways that you’re not ready for until you go through them.”
We’re excited to see Fraser back on our screens soon!
