Now, Caitlyn Jenner has made quite the name for herself over the last few decades.

Starting as an Olympic champion, Caitlyn became a cemented figure in Keeping Up With The Kardashians as the placid father-figure to the world-famous sisters.

But she was well and truly thrown into the spotlight in 2015.

The former athlete announced to the world she was transgender and would be beginning her gender transition.

She even launched her own reality show titled I Am Cait, chronicling her journey throughout her transition.

2 years later, in true Kardashian-Jenner fashion, she went public on the cover of Vanity Fair.

She underwent her final operation - the gender-reassignment surgery - in 2017.

In her debut Vanity Fair interview as Caitlyn, she explained how liberating it felt to finally be open as a woman:

"I have nothing left to hide. I am kind of a free person, a free soul. Up to this point, I would wear, you know, Bruce would wear sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can't get pictures and all that kind of crap."

It's been almost 6 years since Caitlyn came out as transgender...

And there's no denying how far she's come since.

Cait prides herself on using her celebrity status to spread a positive message of tolerance...

And she's super passionate about being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community... especially when it comes to transgender children.

But it seems as if the star is ready for a slight career change...

Because last month, she announced she would be running for governor of California.

According to reports, Caitlyn has already put together a team that includes some of former POTUS Donald Trump's advisers.

Of course, the news of her bid got the entire world talking...

But not everyone was so impressed with her aspirations to become a politician... especially due to the fact that Caitlyn is openly Republican.

And her recent comments about Trump and "illegal immigration" has left everyone with a sour taste in their mouths.

Well, regardless of the criticism, Caitlyn has a very strong vision about the future of a Jenner-governed California...

And she started last week by telling a TMZ reporter about her views on transgender girls competing in sports.

"I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls' sports in school. It just isn't fair. And we have to protect girls' sports in our schools."

Of course, her comments didn't go down well with the people of California...

And the hopeful governor-to-be seems to have burned her bridges even more with Biden supporters by slamming the president's current administration.

"Biden, I don't think I've agreed with anything," Caitlyn told Fox News' Sean Hannity.

"I don't think, since he's been in there, he has done anything for the American worker, maybe other ones. So, it is a 180-degree turn in our country, going the other direction, and it scares me."

"What I liked about Donald Trump is, he was a disruptor."

"He came in and shook the system up, OK? A lot of people didn't like that in Washington, D.C., but he came in and shook the system up," she said.

"I think he did some things that I agree with, some things I didn't agree with... on trans issues, LGBT issues. I was more hopeful at the beginning. But there were some good things he did."

She then went on to talk about "the wall" while discussing immigration laws.

"I would secure the wall. We can't have a state, we can't have a country without a secure wall," she said.

She continued:

"You have two questions here, one is stopping people from coming in illegally into the state. And then the second question is, what do we do with the people that are here? We are a compassionate country, OK? We are a compassionate state. Some help, I mean, some people we're going to send back, OK? No question about that. But I have met some of the greatest immigrants into our country."

Jenner even mistakenly said she was "pro-illegal immigration" before Hannity corrected her.

"You're pro legal immigration," he said.
