Following her rather controversial comments about trans girls competing in sports last month, Caitlyn Jenner has once again expressed her eye-opening ideas about how she would tackle the issue as governor...
It's safe to say she's ruffled some feathers...
You won't believe what the aspiring politician had to say. Here's the full story...
Now, Caitlyn Jenner has made quite the name for herself over the last few decades.
Starting as an Olympic champion, Caitlyn became a cemented figure in Keeping Up With The Kardashians as the placid father-figure to the world-famous sisters.
But she was well and truly thrown into the spotlight in 2015.
The former athlete announced to the world she was transgender and would be beginning her gender transition.
She even launched her own reality show titled I Am Cait, chronicling her journey throughout her transition.
2 years later, in true Kardashian-Jenner fashion, she went public on the cover of Vanity Fair.
She underwent her final operation - the gender-reassignment surgery - in 2017.
In her debut Vanity Fair interview as Caitlyn, she explained how liberating it felt to finally be open as a woman:
"I have nothing left to hide. I am kind of a free person, a free soul. Up to this point, I would wear, you know, Bruce would wear sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can't get pictures and all that kind of crap."
It's been almost 6 years since Caitlyn came out as transgender...
And there's no denying how far she's come since.
Cait prides herself on using her celebrity status to spread a positive message of tolerance...
And she's super passionate about being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community... especially when it comes to transgender children.
But it seems as if the star is ready for a slight career change...

Because in April, she announced she would be running for governor of California.
According to reports, Caitlyn has already put together a team that includes some of former POTUS Donald Trump's advisers.
Of course, the news of her bid got the entire world talking...
And the hopeful Republican faced a lot of criticism online - mostly for simply being a celebrity who is extremely unqualified for the job.
Well, regardless of the criticism, Caitlyn has a very strong vision about the future of a Jenner-governed California...
And she started by telling a TMZ reporter about her views on transgender girls competing in sports shortly after her governor announcement.
"I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls' sports in school. It just isn't fair. And we have to protect girls' sports in our schools."
Of course, her comments didn't go down well with the people of California...
And the hopeful governor-to-be seems to have just burned her bridges even more with the trans community by speaking out over the weekend about her bizarre ideas for trans girls wanting to compete in sports.
People have been left furious by her ideas, to say the least...
And many have called her out for being confusing, hypocritical, and contradictory.
During a recent interview with Fox News about her decision to run for governor, Caitlyn talked about her idea for a solution to the issue of transgender girls participating in school sports...
Which is to create a "government commission" to judge the worthiness of trans girls.
"What I would do as governor, I would put together a commission."
"And trans women, who are truly trans, who at a very young age, you know, started proper medical treatment, they've grown up as girls, of course, they should be able to compete in girls' sports," she explained.
She went on to refer to trans girls who have not medically transitioned as "guys."
"But some guy who hasn't done any therapy, who hasn't done anything, there has to be a review board."
