Katherine Ryan is a Canadian comedian, actress, and writer.
But she’s based in the UK, which is where the majority of her work takes place.
She’s a regular on many British panel shows.
Including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week, Would I Lie to You?, QI, Just a Minute, Safeword, and Have I Got News for You.

Another thing that Ryan is known for is her outspoken nature.
She’s always been unapologetic, particularly when it comes to calling out sexism in the industry.
But this week, she’s given a truly groundbreaking interview.
In which she calls out a man in the entertainment industry for predatory behavior.
“This whole Katherine Ryan thing will come out, mark my words,” wrote one Twitter user.
“Watching Louis Theroux interview Katherine Ryan. Just so we’re clear: feminism is about using the weapons we have available because the fight was never going to be fair. Don’t be so naive,” added another.
Her interview came about in the latest Louis Theroux BBC series.
Theroux is doing intimate and personal conversations with a whole range of stars.
But this particular interview might be the most explosive from the series so far.

Ryan claimed there is an “open secret” about a “s*xual predator” in showbusiness.
She also said it’s “very dangerous” for her to have this conversation.
“I’m happy to have it,” Katherine continued.
“But it’s a litigious minefield because lots of people have tried to nail this person down for their alleged crimes and this person has very good lawyers.”
“So am I going to put my mortgage on the line by saying who this person is or entering into any conversations like that?” Ryan asked Theroux.
She added: “We’ve seen what happens to people who talk about alleged predators.”
Ryan then explained that she hasn’t been the victim of this predator.
She said: “It’s not really my story to tell.
“No one has perpetrated any s*xual assault against me.
“But this person, I believe very strongly – many people believe very strongly – is an open secret, is a perpetrator of s*xual assault.”
Ryan also claimed she’s been on TV shows with the person in question.
And even called him out in person!
“I called him a predator to his face and in front of everyone that day.
“What am I supposed to do?” she said.
“It’s such a messy thing because I don’t have proof.
“What, am I not supposed to feed my children because of someone else?” Ryan questioned.
She also explained that this segment of the show was cut and never made it to broadcast.
“I still got paid and I still did my job, but I did it in my way, which I thought was fair,” Ryan said.
