Cara Delevingne has said that making her documentary has changed her life.
This comes as she revealed she was more comfortable with herself after years of battling homophobia and shame over her sexuality.

Delevingne is an English model and actress.
She first stepped into the modeling industry during her teens.
After school, Delevingne signed with a London-based model agency ‘Storm Model Management’.
She accomplished several feats in modeling including being the face of Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2011 and 2012.
Delevingne went on to win a ‘Model of the Year’ award at the ‘British Fashion Awards’ twice in 2012 and 2014.
She has been featured on the covers of various fashion magazines such as Vogue, Russh, i-D, Jalouse, and Love.
Delevingne also went on to advertising campaigns for major brands like Chanel, Zara and H&M.
She made her big screen debut in the romance movie, Anna Karenina.
Since then, Delevingne has had other notable movies under her belt, including Suicide Squad and London Fields.
Fashion news site models.com ranked her number seventeen in their 2013 list of ‘50 Top Models’.

Delevingne and Bugg were introduced by their mutual friend Rita Ora, and they dated for a few months in early 2013.

Delevingne was linked to Michelle in early 2014. At the time, the actress confirmed their relationship to The Mirror: “It’s going really well,” she gushed. “She’s so cool. Delevingne revealed to Vogue in 2016: “I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”
Sadly, the pair broke up in September of that same year.

Rumors started to swirl in 2018 that Jackson and Delevingne were dating after they started to appear all over each other’s social media accounts. They were even caught kissing and holding hands outside of a restaurant in Hollywood that March.

In June 2019, Delevingne made their romance Instagram official, when she shared a clip of her and Benson sharing a kiss. She later revealed to E! News that the video commemorated their one-year anniversary. “I don’t know because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know,” she said at the time. “It’s been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?”

Her personal life had its ups and downs and her professional life became daunting after her encounter with film producer Harvey Weinstein.
The New York Times published a story detailing decades of s*xual harassment and abuse by Harvey Weinstein.
Since the article’s publication, several celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie have come forward to share their own stories Weinstein’s disgusting behavior.
Delevingne is another addition to the list of women Weinstein harassed.
She opened up about 2 separate incidents with him in a post online…
Delevingne wrote in the caption: “I want women and girls to know that being harassed or abused or raped is NEVER their fault and not talking about it will always cause more damage than speaking the truth.”
“When I first started to work as an actress, I was working on a film and I received a call from Harvey Weinstein asking if I had slept with any of the women I was seen out with in the media. It was a very odd and uncomfortable call…I answered none of his questions and hurried off the phone but before I hung up, he said to me that If I was gay or decided to be with a woman especially in public that I’d never get the role of a straight woman or make it as an actress in Hollywood,” she wrote.
Weinstein’s behavior in her second story is even more reprehensible:
“A year or two later, I went to a meeting with [Weinstein] in the lobby of a hotel with a director about an upcoming film. The director left the meeting and Harvey asked me to stay and chat with him. […] He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside.”
Delevingne continued: “She said it wasn’t and wouldn’t be for a bit and I should go to his room. At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didn’t want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation. When I arrived I was relieved to find another woman in his room and thought immediately I was safe.
“He asked us to kiss and she began some sort of advances upon his direction. I swiftly got up and asked him if he knew that I could sing. And I began to sing… I thought it would make the situation better… more professional… like an audition… I was so nervous.”
Earlier this year, Delevingne was spotted displaying erratic behavior in public.
A paparazzi caught the model outside California’s Van Nuys Airport, shoeless and reportedly looking dissolved.
The model was seen smoking a cigar with her dog next to her.
Sources told TMZ that the actress was struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.
But now, the star seems to be in good health.
The thirty-year-old attended the Fremantle Photocall as part of the MIPCOM 2022 in Cannes.
She was spotted rocking around with a black strapless cut-out minidress, which she matched with pointed-toe pumps and a gold necklace.
Her hair was styled in loose curls which reached below her shoulders.

More recently, Delevingne has opened up about her new documentary Planet Sex.
Over the years, Delevingne battled internalized homophobia and shame over her sexuality, and it led her to suicidal thoughts.
However, she said that her experience making her documentary changed her life.
“I couldn’t talk to anyone about it. I had a lot of internalized homophobia and shame. I thought that I was abnormal,” she said, as per the Mirror.
“I thought about ending my life like I had multiple times, and I’m so glad I didn’t because if I can help any other kid that means the world to me. It means the world to that little queer kid I was. Or I am.”
She admitted that Planet Sex changed her life completely and hopes that it will help other people struggling with their sexuality as she did.
“It has very much changed my life. Now I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I feel really, really proud of what we created,” Delevingne explained.
She said the documentary “made me want to be louder about what I believe in. It’s time to stop hiding.”
Planet Sex reportedly explores the various pleasures and mysteries of human sexuality throughout the world while Delevingne shares some of her own stories.
Planet Sex will be available in the US on the streaming service Hulu on Tuesday, November 29.
