The Magic Mike actor appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday, where he revealed his harsh thoughts on the reality of being a hunk.

According to Tatum, it’s not an attainable look.

And he had some strong words about workout culture. Just wait until you see the clip…

Now, it’ll come as no secret that the actor has an incredibly thirsty fan base.

Despite starring in an array of different movies, Tatum has built a reputation for being, well, hot.

And, when you look at his past roles, it isn’t difficult to see why.

Barely-clad roles in movies such as Step Up and Magic Mike have gained Tatum a certain reputation as an actor.

His social media has helped build that reputation too, of course.

He shared this shirtless picture on Instagram back in September, detailing how he’d got back into shape following an injury.
“It’s been a long road back. Injuries, life sh*t, and just insanity in general,” he wrote. “Daddy is finally back boooi!! Gonna be a fun next 10-year run.”

And, in April, he shared this thirsty snap.

“Little Saturday grind session! Let’s gooooo 2021! Feeelin goodie good!!”

His fans aren’t exactly subtle in their thoughts on the actor…

And now, Tatum himself has addressed his reputation.

As stated earlier, Tatum appeared virtually on The Kelly Clarkson Show where he opened up about his workout regime for the roles he plays onscreen.

He first applauded those who fit workouts and self-care into their routine around full-time work and family duties.

“I literally get to work out as a job, and it’s still hard,” Tatum, who’s a father to one daughter, said. “I can’t imagine people who have a 9-to-5 job, who have kids at home, and where do they get the energy and the time to actually focus on themselves?”

He then stressed that, as someone who works out for a job, “I promise you I would not look like this unless I had to be naked in most of my movies mostly.”

To which he quipped:
“At some point, I have to get better at acting so I don’t have to be naked in all of them.”
