Interestingly, producers of the show have revealed that it is actually filmed 2 years in advance.
The new season saw 30 contestants enter the pods.
In the latest season, 30 singles entered the pods to find love with the ultimate goal of getting engaged.
The current season is half way through.
As the love drama unfolded in the pods, Blackwell, a flight attendant and event planner, casually asked her love interest, Jimmy Presnell, about his celebrity doppelgänger. Presnell, a software salesman, admitted he had one.
During the first six episodes, Chelsea Blackwell built a bond with Jimmy Presnell.
Blackwell then dropped the bombshell, revealing that passengers often mistake her for none other than Megan Fox. “It’s just because I have dark hair and blue eyes,” she explained, downplaying the comparison.
Megan Fox is a famous actress.
She has starred in multiple film franchises including Transformers.
She is also a famous face on magazines.
Fox has also made appearances in numerous magazines such as Maxim, Rolling Stone, and FHM.

Megan has made no comment on the show or any suggestion that she resembles the Love is Blind star.

Presnell’s grin couldn’t be contained as he asked incredulously, “Megan Fox? You’re saying you look like Megan Fox?”
Presnell seems to miss the point of the show.
Presnell hinted that appearance was very important to him, despite knowing the main idea of the show.
This prompted Presnell to suggest getting engaged…
Blackwell, sticking to her story, insisted it was all about the light eyes and dark hair. The excitement in Presnell’s voice soared as he jokingly proposed marriage through the pod walls.
Following the engagement, Blackwell and Presnell came face to face.
Fast forward, Blackwell and Presnell got engaged, sight unseen, committing to each other in the mysterious pods. However, when the moment of truth arrived, and they met face-to-face, viewers noticed something amiss in Presnell’s reaction.

When faced with each other, Presenell appeared disappointed and didn’t see the comparison with Megan Fox.
Viewers were divided on Blackwell’s claims to look like the famous figure.
In a confessional, Presnell admitted feeling misled about Blackwell’s resemblance to Fox.
Social media erupted, with viewers mocking the comparison, labeling it “Megan Faux.” Some even claimed that love might be blind, but Blackwell was not.

Amidst the storm of criticism, Season 4 alum Micah Lussier defended Blackwell on TikTok, asserting that the resemblance was noticeable in certain angles. He urged haters to back off and stop dragging her.
Blackwell has since responded to the controversy.
Responding to the backlash, Blackwell addressed the situation in an interview with Access Hollywood.
Laughing off the controversy, she revealed that Presnell had compared himself to NFL star Christian McCaffrey before the Fox revelation. Blackwell expressed surprise at his intense reaction, clarifying that she never expected the backlash.
