It gives cancer patients and their families a place to stay in Boston while they undergo treatment, taking away the financial burden and alleviating some stress from parents and carers at such a delicate time.

And to make things even more incredible, they will also get to walk on the red carpet, escorted by Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling themselves.

People have since praised the actors on social media, with one Facebook user writing: “That’s what I’m talking about. Use your wealth to help others! Go boys!”

Another user commented: “I couldn’t love this more! Thank you, Chris and Ryan!!! As a momma of a neuroblastoma toddler — just know this $ is so needed as pediatric cancer research is extraordinarily under-funded. Making up only 4% of funds allocated for cancer research. Astonishing. No baby/child should have to fight this awful disease.”

What an incredible cause!
