And of course, we’re not forgetting his very public relationship with Anna Faris.

His relationship with Faris well and truly dominated the news cycle.

The pair married in 2009 and just a few years later, Anna gave birth to their son, Jack.

But in 2017, Anna and Chris separated, later filing for a divorce after 5 months apart.

Luckily, the pair have remained close.

They’re good friends and co-parents — so that’s something of a happy ending.

But recently Faris and Pratt hit headlines for something that may put a strain on their friendship.

After Chris Pratt shared a post dedicated to his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger that praised her while using a controversial choice of words…

In Pratt’s adoring post to his wife, he thanked her for giving him “a gorgeous healthy daughter.”

“Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my earbuds to drown it out, but that’s love!” he wrote.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger share a fourteen-month-old daughter named Lyla.

However, many think that his choice of words are insensitive to Faris and their son, 9-year-old, Jack.

Jack, was born 9 weeks premature and Faris has previously revealed that their son weighed just 3 pounds and twelve ounces at birth, The Independent reports.

Jack also spent the first month in the NICU.

Faris also opened up about Jack’s birth in her memoir, Unqualified.

“The pediatric neurosurgeon sat Chris and me down to tell us that Jack had some severe brain bleeding and there was a chance that he could be developmentally disabled,” she wrote.

The post has caused quite the divide online but Chris’ mom-in-law, Maria Shriver quickly joined those trying to defend him.

And it’s caused mixed opinions once again…

At first, Maria Shriver commented saying that she couldn’t “agree more” with what he wrote.

Before also adding: “This is so sweet now show us how you look at her,” after Pratt spoke about how Katherine adores him.

But following the criticism, she added another comment.

And this time, she told Pratt to “rise above the noise” while adding that he is “a great father.”

“I want to remind you today what a good man you are what a great father you are to jack and Lyla what a great husband you are to Katherine what a great son-in-law you are to me and what a great sense of humor you have !!” she wrote.

“I love you Chris keep being your wonderful self rise above the noise your kids love your family loves you your wife loves you what a beautiful life I’m proud of you xo.”

Since then, Pratt has entered the headlines for something a little less controversial…

He recently revealed that he hates being called Chris.

He opened up about his name preferences in an interview with SiriusXM’s Pop Culture Spotlight.

He said “it feels weird” when someone calls him “Chris.”

Interviewer Jessica Shaw then asked: “What do they call you? Pratt?”

Pratt responded: “Yep. Pratt. CP. You know, CP. ‘Hey, CP.’

“But no one calls me Chris. My friend, Chad. I went golfing with my friend, Chad, my pastor the other day and he was like, ‘No one calls you Chris? I’m gonna call you Chris. Alright, Chris. You’re up.’

“And I was like, ‘No, it feels weird. It’s not my name. Don’t call me Chris,'” he added.

What do you think of CP?
