Amid a series of damning bullying allegations, Chrissy Teigen's cookware line has been removed by Target - but not for why you might think.
Here's the full story...
It hasn't been a great month for Chrissy Teigen.
The former model, who usually maintains a very loyal fan base, has had her name dragged through the dirt following a series of unearthed tweets made in her youth.
Though this isn't the first time her social media antics have landed her in hot water.
Chrissy, who is married to singer John Legend, has been slammed many times in the past for her "tone-deaf" tweets.
imagine tweeting this thinking you’re being quirky and funny.. I’m so tired of bird brain celebrities https://t.co/LHOYm6p1Uk— h_ (@h_)1573185626.0
In the middle of last year's lockdown, Chrissy took to Twitter to explain how her mom treats her $200 Apple AirPods like they're disposable - of course, her supposed joke really didn't go down well with her fans; many of whom were struggling financially thanks to the pandemic.
In the last decade, Chrissy has also been called out for making fun of and being cruel about other famous figures.
She suggested that Lady Gaga isn't a woman, shamed Mariah Carey when she was pregnant, and ridiculed transgender contestants on America's Next Top Model, just to name a few.
She has also been labeled as a bully on a number of occasions...
And some of her past tweets certainly back up these accusations.
The most recent accusations came from TV personality Courtney Stodden.
Chrissy was forced to issue a public apology earlier this week to Courtney after a series of past tweets and DMs resurfaced.
Courtney, who uses they/them pronouns, attracted negative media attention in 2011 after marrying a fifty-year-old acting coach at age sixteen - a relationship they say they now realize they were groomed into.
Courtney recently told the Daily Beast that on top of some cruel direct tweets, Chrissy sent private DMs encouraging them to kill themself when they were just sixteen years old.
People were left disgusted after hearing Courtney's story...

In her groveling apology thread, the model described her past self as "an insecure, attention-seeking troll," adding that the shame and embarrassment she feels is nothing compared to the way she made Courtney feel.
"I am so sorry I let you guys down," she added to her followers, "I will forever work on being better than I was ten years ago, 1 year ago, 6 months ago."
Courtney responded to Chrissy's apology with this Instagram post:
"I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter. All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her 'wokeness' is a broken record."
But, just when things seemingly couldn't get any worse for Chrissy, conservative author, Candace Owens, embroiled herself in the mix.

The controversial public figure started pulling up some of the 2011 tweets Chrissy sent to Courtney.
"Everything about Chrissy Teigen's record on social media indicates mental derangement but telling a sixteen-year-old girl that you fantasize about her being dead? That takes the cake. Why does @Target sponsor this trash?"
Candace then revealed another disturbing tweet from Chrissy - this time, aimed at Sarah Palin.

"Chrissy Teigen also pleaded with Sarah Palin to commit suicide by shooting herself in the face. @target is still carrying her products."
In both tweets, Candace tagged Target, who has been exclusively selling Chrissy's cookware range, Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, since 2019.
Well, Target have since responded to the controversy by revealing that they no longer stock the cookware range.
TMZ reported that Target removed the cookware line last month...
But a source close to Teigen told the Daily Mail that the partnership ended in December last year and had nothing to do with the ongoing bullying controversy.
Target confirmed the news in a statement yesterday, saying:
"We made the mutual decision in December to no longer carry the cookware line, given our continued focus on brands we develop and that can only be found at Target."
Chrissy's cookware is still available in the wider world, "most notably on [Teigen's] own website and through several other retailers," TMZ's source continued.
Chrissy is yet to address the rumors surrounding her cookware line.
