Love him or hate him, it's hard to deny he's made an impact.

It's been a strange couple of years...

No one could quite believe what they were hearing when the notorious business tycoon announced his plans to run for President during the 2016 presidential campaigns.

But, remarkably, it wasn't a publicity stunt.

Donald Trump was being deadly serious about his bid for his place in the White House, and kicked off his campaign with an array of promises, such as building a wall along the border of Mexico, allowing all American's to the right to bear arms, and generally to "make America great again."

And when it came round to election day...

The world awoke on November 9th to see that America officially had its new leader - President Donald Trump.

It's been an eventful few years, to say the least.

It's certainly been up and down - Trump has sparked his fair share of outrage, imposing a temporary travel ban on Muslims entering and leaving the U.S. and banning transgender people from the military, just for example. But he also passed a bill that makes animal cruelty a federal crime, and unemployment in the country was at an all-time low at just 3.6 percent.

The President is no stranger to criticism and controversy...

Much of his behavior while acting as President has been questioned over the past couple of years, with many calling for him to be impeached, and even removed from office entirely.

And, earlier this year...

Many prayers were answered when the president was actually impeached.

Trump was charged with 2 offenses.

The first was for abuse of power, and the second was an accusation of blocking his aides from testifying and failing to co-operate with the House impeachment investigation.

But despite his impeachment...

Trump continues to hold an awful lot of power and his fan base is still going strong... Which isn't necessarily a good thing considering the majority of Trump supporters hold far-right and very conservative ideologies.

But, despite his overwhelmingly loyal fan base...

Times are now harder than ever for the president. Since the coronavirus pandemic took over the world back in March, there's no denying that Trump has handled it awfully.

Our country is now the worst affected in the world...

And Trump seems to remain completely oblivious to how catastrophic the coronavirus has been for millions of people.

Last month, things got even worse for the president on a personal level.

His younger brother and best friend, Robert Trump, sadly passed away.

The White House issued a statement reading:

"It is with a heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight."

"He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again."

"His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace."

Robert's funeral took place at the White House...

And the President and First Lady could be seen accompanying the casket as it made its way down the front steps of the North Portico and was loaded into the hearse.

And following the struggles he's faced this year...

Yesterday news emerged that someone had decided to destroy his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star... Again!

Someone found a way to get back at the president a second time...

And he isn't remorseful in the slightest.

James Otis, who has smashed up the star before, decided to do it all over again on Friday morning...

Using a pickaxe to destroy the star.

The star already had plywood surrounding it, to prevent its destruction, but that didn't stop him.

He climbed over and went to work, and has since been booked for vandalism.

This is just 4 weeks after Otis dressed up as the Incredible Hulk and smashed it up for the umpteenth time.

Just as the restoration was completed he came back and did it all over again.

Otis clearly doesn't care about the repercussions.

He was first arrested in February 2017, and sentenced to 3 years probation, community service, and ordered to pay $4,400 in damages. That's a pretty hefty punishment.

Earlier today Madame Tussauds Berlin made a big reveal.

Just days before the upcoming and impending US Election, Madame Tussauds Berlin revealed they had thrown Donald Trump's waxwork into the dumpster.

Trump was dumped both literally and figuratively.

But why have they decided to move Trump? Well the museum's marketing manager says the move is 'symbolic'.

They released a statement after making the move.

Marketing manager Orkide Yalcindag explained to Reuters:
Todayโ€™s activity is rather of a symbolic character ahead of the elections in the United States. We here at Madame Tussauds Berlin removed Donald Trumpโ€™s waxwork as a preparatory measure.

Numerous photos were shared online.

Showing Trump in the dumpster surrounded by bags of trash, a discarded 'Make America Great Again' hat, and several tweets including 'Fake News!', 'You are fired!' and 'I love Berlin!'

They also situated his dumpster in front of Trump Tower.

But what will they do if he gets re-elected? I guess only time will tell.

But jokes and statements aside.

There is nothing better than peace - and that's what was shown during a recent vigil for Kevin Peterson, Jr., who was shot and killed the day before by police. Around 1,000 people showed up for the vigil, as did Trump supporters some of whom were armed. As the vigil approached the Trump supporters, one man asked the Trump crew to allow people to pass by and pay their respects.

The conversation was remarkable.

The Trump supporter, gun in hand, very quickly calmed down as the two spoke. Their conversation concluded with Trump supporters shaking hands with the civic leader and allowing them to pass peacefully.
