But there’s no denying that her marriage to the infamous Ozzy Osbourne is the thing that threw her into the spotlight.

The pair met when Sharon began managing Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath, in the 1970s…

And they immediately began a very chaotic and turbulent relationship.

After nearly a decade of on-and-off dating, they officially tied the knot in 1982…

And went on to have 3 children together, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.

And always the businesswoman…

Sharon decided to cash in on her rather bizarre family setup, and collaborated with MTV to start the reality TV show, The Osbournes, in 2002.

Following the success of the show, Sharon became a celebrity in her own right.

And in 2007, Sharon starred as a judge on America’s Got Talent, and the British singing show, The X Factor.

But that’s not all as from 2010, Sharon was a panelist on The Talk.

Sharon frequently interviewed and chatted with an array of different celebrities for many years.

For around the last twenty years, the Osbournes have lived here in the US.

Residing in their sprawling home in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ.

But recently, Sharon has come under scrutiny.

Over controversial comments made on The Talk.

Since 2010, she had been a panelist on the daytime TV show, where she interviewed and chatted with an array of different celebrities.

But early last year, things took a sour turn.

The talk show host found herself in some seriously hot water after making some “controversial” comments about Meghan Markle in defense of her long-term friend, Piers Morgan.

It all started when Piers Morgan was accused of “bullying” Meghan Markle in an unrelenting series of rants, both on and offline.

He referred to her as a “liar” while she was discussing her mental health and said he wouldn’t believe her if she was giving him the weather report.

But after facing intense backlash for his comments, he resigned from Good Morning Britain.

And that’s when Sharon decided she would jump in to defend him.

The star told Sheryl Underwood on The View that she felt he did nothing wrong.

“I know he has a right to say what he feels on the interview, as we have a right to say and everybody has a right to say what they feel with freedom of speech,” Sharon explained.

She continued:

“Did I like everything he said? Did I agree with what he said? No, because it’s his opinion. It’s not my opinion.

“But why is it that because I supported a long-time friend and work colleague of mine for years that everybody goes, if you support him, then you must be racist because he’s racist?”

“This is the situation. You tell me where you have heard him say, educate me, tell me when you have heard him [Morgan] say racist things.”

Sheryl replied with this:
“It is not the exact words of racism. It is the implication and the reaction to it. To not want to address that, because she is a black woman, and to try and dismiss it or to make it seem less than it is. That’s what makes it racist. Right now I am talking to a woman I believe is my friend. I don’t want anybody here to watch this and think we are attacking you for being racist.”

Sharon replied: “I think it’s too late. That seed is already sown.”

Her other co-host, Elaine Welteroth, added that it was a moment to “stand up for anti-racism.”

“When we give passes or give space to people who are saying damaging, harmful things, what we’re kind of doing is permissing it. And I think that’s what people are reacting to.”

But no one could excuse Sharon’s aggression during the rant when discussing racism.

“And don’t try and cry. ‘Cause if anyone should be crying, it should be me,” Sharon claimed while Sheryl replied, “But right now, I’m talking to a woman who I believe is my friend.”

After the scandal, Sharon released a statement in which she tried to recognize how her behavior may have come across.

In it, she wrote how she’s always received support and love from the Black community and apologized to anyone she’s let down because of her recent actions. She even addressed the fact that she let her “fear and horror of being accused of being a racist take over.”

But while Sharon said she was “truly sorry” if her comments caused offense…

She proved that she actually did apologize to Sheryl after the very public disagreement.

In text messages obtained by the Daily Mail, she actually reached out to Sheryl multiple times.

“Sheryl, My heart is heavy and I’m deeply saddened by the events that transpired on Wednesday. I don’t want to lose my true friend over this. I’m sorry for telling you to f**k off during the break, I’m sorry for accusing you of fake crying while we were live on air and I’m sorry for losing my temper with you. I felt shocked, scared, and saddened by what felt like was a blind-sided attack,” the messages read.

“You know me. You know how I’ve always had your back,” she continued.

“We’ve outlasted everyone on this show and that’s because we’ve always been a team and had each other’s backs. I consider you a genuine friend. If you want to talk on the phone over the weekend I’m here. Once again from the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry. Is there anything You need from me or that I can do to help you heal? Love and respect always – Sharon.”

After this revelation, the talk show star then appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher where she hit out at claims she was “racist”…

And she slammed “woke culture” for canceling anyone who couldn’t keep up with changing “acceptable” language.

“I’m angry. I’m hurt,” she said when asked about the scandal.

“I’ve been called so many things in my life. I am so used to being called names. But a racist is one I will not take.”

So, as you can see, it’s been a very turbulent time for Sharon…

And after the dust settled, she once again slammed “woke people.”

In an interview with the New York Post, Sharon said: “Woke people are like born-agains.”

  via Getty Images

She continued, “It’s like a religion. The woke people, they are entitled to opinions, God bless them, even though they bore me to death — but the rest of us are not. They have a new word every day, and a new campaign every day, and if anyone goes against it … what? We’re the devil? They certainly act like we are.”

Sharon also opened up about her new docuseries To Hell and Back, in which she discusses her incident at The Talk

She told the outlet: “Woke people want to be accepted by everybody, but why can’t non-woke people be accepted by them? I’m not talking about hate groups — they are the worst in the world — but we need to let people have opinions.

“If our opinions get taken away, we might as well be living in China. [Woke people] tell you what to say and how to behave. If that is how you want to live your life, good for you. But it ain’t for me.”

But that’s not the only thing that got people talking.

New photos of the star have left fans concerned, as many claim she’s “unrecognizable.”

One person said: “If I walked past her I’d never recognize her.”

  via Getty Images

A second added: “Good grief, I wouldn’t of recognised her. Dreadful!” and a third said: “I would not have recognized her as Sharon.”

Another concluded: “I didn’t recognize her. The only thing that matters is that she is happy. Her life, her business.”

This comes after The Mirror recently posted pics of her online and a year after she underwent facelift surgery.

She opened up to the Sunday Times about the procedure…

She said: “I’m telling you, it was horrendous. I’m, like, You’ve got to be f***** joking. One eye was different to the other. I looked like a f***** Cyclops. I’m, like, ‘All I need is a hunchback!'”
