Conspiracy Theorists Believe World Will End Today Because of the Hadron Collider

Sorry to break it to you folks, but the world could end today. According to conspiracy theorists, that is – and it’s all because of the Hadron Collider…

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is due to be put back in use today with proton collisions taking place for the first time since 2019, but some people believe it’s bad news.

The LHC at CERN is the world’s largest and most powerful particle collider that joins protons together and was even responsible for discovering Higgs boson, iNews reports.

It’s safe to say that with a new period of data beginning today, which will be the start of the LHC running for 4 years, the LHC could make some huge discoveries…

That’s providing that it doesn’t cause something awful to happen, as conspiracy theorists have claimed…

Conspiracy theorists have been sharing what they expect to happen when the LHC is turned on and it includes everything from the universe being thrown into a new timeline to timeline shifts.

Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the LHC, one person wrote: “7am, PST tomorrow, CERN will be turned on, and we will once again be shifted to another reality. the last time this happened was 2012. it was a good 10 years boys, wishing you all luck into this new reality!”

One woman even took to TikTok to share some advice on what to do when the LHC is on…

The TikTok user said in her video that people should not drink, should keep their “good vibrations high, surround yourself with positive energy during July 4th and 5th.”

“A lot of people think the last time CERN was turned on, we were shifted to a different timeline and reality,” she said in the video. “It is power by negative matter, negative energy, any negative thought you’ve had gives power to this machine. I believe when this is turned on, there will be an actual shift, and people will be left behind for the next seven years.”

But, for anyone worried by the conspiracy theory claims, you’ll be relieved to know that research has been carried out to assess the threat of the machine…

According to UNILAD, research into whether the LHC could cause issues was previously commissioned by CERN, and no threat was found… Phew!
