As Black Lives Matter protests continue across the globe, one man has shown just why these protests and demonstrations need to continue - to give a voice to the black community.

Footage emerged earlier today of a black teen being dragged over concrete by police while in handcuffs. The footage also shows that the teen was not resisting arrest.

The police officer in the footage has been given a suspension until January with full pay...

Since the death of George Floyd, protests for the movement have been happening across the globe in volumes we've never seen before. And now a new story has emerged - proving why this movement is needed more now than ever.

Racially motivated police brutality has been happening for centuries now...

But George Floyd's death sparked an outrage like never before.

Thousands upon thousands of people have been taking to the streets in protest...

And they are all marching for one thing: For the blatant racism and injustice in this country to be brought to an end.

Many protests turned violent...

But change needs to happen and, at the moment, this seems like the only way to make it happen.

Remarkably, however, they seem to be working.

Thanks to these riots, the Black Lives Matter movement is dominating global headlines, and it has completely taken over social media.

Protests have been happening across the pond too...

Hundreds of thousands of people have been taking to the streets in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

We are witnessing history in the making...

And people are continuing to demand justice.

However, not everyone has been so supportive of the movement.

Amongst the stories of positivity from the protests, there have been some tales with a more sour undertone.

Mostly, these people are coming from far-right groups...

So most of us aren’t too shocked.

Most of these individuals have been going by the phrase, "White Lives Matter."

They have tried to argue that this promotes equality, but this most certainly isn’t the case.

White Lives Matter is basically being used to criticize BLM...

And the people behind it like to argue that everyone has it just as hard as Black people do.

And predictably...

The majority of people who have been preaching “All Lives Matter" are failing to see the horrendous problem that we have with racism.

Blatant racism is still happening across our country...

And countless stories of Black people being targeted are continuing to emerge.

Residents in one neighborhood were left shaken.

Murals across the globe are being created in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, but police were forced to investigate one mural which was defaced in Chicago.

The mural is 100 feet in width and runs along a roadway in the Oak Park neighborhood.

The act of vandalism completely shocked the entire community.

The mural was completed by volunteers in the area...

And marked one of several huge murals being created throughout the States, including the controversial Fifth Avenue painting outside Trump Tower (which you can read about at the end.)

But it was defaced to read "All Lives Matter."

Community groups immediately came out to wash the graffiti off of the mural with a power hose.

Following the cleanup, an Oak Park Arts official spoke out about the horrific act.

"It cleaned up really well, [but] there are some areas that the artists eventually may want to look at restoring some of the paint," Oak Park Arts official Camille Wilson White told The Chicago Tribune.

Now another story has emerged proving why the Black Lives Matter movement is needed now more than ever.

Earlier today footage emerged of an underage black teen being forcefully dragged over concrete in handcuffs. The footage quite clearly shows that the teen is not resisting arrest whatsoever. The police officer stands behind the teen as he is sat handcuffed on the ground before dragging him backwards as the teen asks him why he's doing it, adding that he'll get in the car himself.

The police officer in question has been suspended.

But will receive full pay and undergo training as a condition for his return. The police department said that the officer violated their policy as 'there was no immediate need or emergency for Officer Moore to take the action of dragging the arrestee'.
