Couple Armed With Guns Confront Protesters Outside Their Mansion | 22 Words

Shocking footage of a couple guarding their mansion with guns has gone viral today, and it has left people utterly appalled at the current state of our country.

All across the country, people are coming together to stand up against racism.

 Ever since George Floyd, an unarmed and defenseless black man, died while being held in a police restraint, our country has experienced a wave of anger like never before.

The Black Lives Matter movement is more prominent than ever...

 And millions of people have been marching for the racism and injustice in this country to come to an end once and for all.

However, not everyone has been so supportive of the movement.

 While the majority of American's have been in favor of the protests, there is a small minority who have been speaking out against them.

Mostly, these people are coming from far-right groups...

 So most of us aren't too shocked.

Most of these individuals have been going by the phrase, "White Lives Matter."

They have tried to argue that this promotes equality, but this most certainly isn't the case.

White Lives Matter is basically being used to criticize BLM...

And the people behind it like to argue that everyone has it just as hard as black people do.

And predictably...

The majority of people who have been preaching "All Lives Matter" are failing to see the horrendous problem that we have with racism.

White Lives Matter protests and rallies have been happening here in America and in the U.K...

And it is truly a disgrace to humankind to see this kind of ignorance being blasted so confidently.

And now, one couple, in particular, has generated a whole new wave of shock and outrage.

 Footage has recently gone viral from a protest in St Louis, Missouri, and people are completely horrified.

Husband and wife, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, were seen emerging from their mansion as the protest passed by...

 And they were each brandishing and aiming firearms at the crowds.

Patricia could be seen clutching onto a handgun...

 While Mark, even more horrifyingly so, was carrying a large assault weapon that resembles an AR-15.

The couple paced up and down on the lands of their lavish home in the upscale Central West End neighborhood of the city...

 And repeatedly brandished their weapons and shouting "stand back!" at the protestors, who were marching for the resignation of Mayor Krewson.

Krewson has recently stirred up controversy after she publicly identified those who had called for the police to be defunded.

 Ever since her blunder, people have been calling for her to resign, and protestors took it upon themselves to march outside of her home in Forest Park.

But, evidently, her neighbors felt particularly threatened by the march.

 Alternate footage shows Patricia storming towards the protestors in defense, brandishing her gun and seemingly shouting "walk away!"

Professional photos highlight the severity of the incident even further.

It is truly terrifying to see that this is what our country has descended into.

Can you imagine the chaos if it had been a black couple brandishing those weapons at white protestors?

If this isn't proof of white privilege, I don't know what is.

The videos of the couple's shocking retaliation were posted onto Twitter...

Where they have now been viewed by millions of people all over the world.

And, quite understandably, people are disgusted.

Since the videos went viral, Twitter did its thing and the couple's own law firm was identified.

The McCloskey Law Center is in for a very rough Monday, indeed.

The couple are yet to comment on or apologize for their actions...
