The pair were married for several years until Hugh sadly passed away in 2017.

Since the passing of her late husband, Crystal has had a lot of time to think about her true self.

And it seems that she is ready to share that…

Crystal has taken to Instagram to celebrate the “real” her after removing “everything fake” from her body and changing her image.

And it’s a decision that people have praised her for…

Taking to Instagram, Crystal revealed in a lengthy caption that she has “removed everything fake from my body and deleted all my old photos.”

“After the last handful of years staying true to myself on social media, I feel that all the people here with me at this point actually care and are invested in my life in a positive way and for that I thank you,” she began by writing.

Crystal explained that “over five years” her Instagram account has “shifted from not always safe for work posts to my REAL safe for work life.”

She described herself as “living for other people before, to make others happy,” but now she is “the real me.”

“As most of you know, I grew my following during my “Playboy” years,” she continued. “Certain photos grow followings fast.”

Admitting that “sex sells”, Crystal said that she doesn’t know if she “felt empowered by dressing scantily clad, showing cleavage” or if she just felt that “it was expected of me.”

But now, she can “confidently and 100% proudly say, modesty is what empowers me these days, and because it feels so much better internally, it will probably be this way for the rest of my life. “

Describing herself as “more authentic”, “vulnerable” and “mine”, Crystal reveal she had “removed everything fake from my body and deleted all my old photos.”

But, that hasn’t come without some doubts as she said she questioned whether her Instagram account would survive during the transition.

Although at first she saw her following drop, Crystal explained that “now it has shifted” and her followers are growing.

“Now my women followers are giving the men followers a run for their money,” she wrote. “Now I truly feel I have an army of supporters that care and see an actual soul behind the lens. For that I thank you.”

Bringing her post to a close, Crystal said it was her “mission to try and help” others and thanked her followers whether they follow her for “insight into my past life, my new one, my travels, my health hurdles, lifestyle.”

“I hope all of you can stay true to yourself and to what feels right for you as well, because there’s a certain power you get from that you can’t find anywhere else,” she wrote.
