A dad has gone viral after he bought birth control for his 2 teenage daughters for the first time in a hilarious video.
The viral video shows the dad handing his 2 daughters birth control that he had purchased for them.
With more than 12 million views, the video was shared to TikTok by one of the daughters who wrote: “easily one of the most embarrassing moments of life.”
In the video, the dad begins by saying: “My sweet teenage daughters, this is my first receipt of birth control for you two.”
Placing the receipt on the table in front, the dad explains that the doctors think there is a “difference” in s*xual activity between the ages of the 2 daughters.
“And, apparently, there’s a difference in what the doctors think s*xual activity from a 17- and an 18-year-old,” he said.
He then reaches inside of a bag and pulls out a pack of birth control.
Giving it to one of his daughters, the dad said: “So, here’s your birth control. Good luck, I wish you well.”
And then, he turns to his other daughter ready to give the birth control to her…
Reaching inside the bag, he pulls out a large bag full of birth control and places it with his other daughter.
“And, hello, do you guys wanna tell dad something?” he said as his daughter puts her head in her hands and laughs.
Speaking with BuzzFeed about the video, the daughters, named Emma and Ryan, said that they felt “fortunate” that their dad, J.J, is so supportive and “understanding.”
Their dad, J.J added: “As the only man in the house, I want to be protective of them while also being open about s*x, pregnancy prevention, and s*xual health.
“I want them to know that I am open to whomever they bring home as long as they are treated respectfully.”
