Chadwick Boseman, the iconic actor and star of the film Black Panther tragically passed away two days ago.
Following the heartbreaking news of his death, many are looking back through Boseman's old interviews and one is really making the rounds on the internet.
The interview shows Boseman discussing the impact Black Panther had on two young kids with cancer. What wasn't known at the time is that Boseman too was struggling with cancer.
Now, one of the child's dads has shared the message that Boseman sent to his son at the time.

Chadwick Boseman has tragically passed away.The heartbreaking news of Chadwick Boseman's death was unveiled by his family as they posted on his many social media channels.
A statement was released confirming his passing.The statement read:
It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.
It also claimed he had cancer for four years.Starting back in 2016 when Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer. The same cancer continuously got worse, before eventually claiming his life.
Boseman was an icon.Both on screen and off screen, however as an actor his career was truly remarkable.
He starred in so many films and TV shows.And in a serious variety of genres. From playing James Brown in the biopic Get On Up, to the ancient Egyptian deity Thoth in Gods of Egypt.
But his career was only just really taking off.

However his most famous role...Is of course as the main role in Black Panther as T'Challa / Black Panther.
Boseman played Black Panther in four films.He played it in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and was a huge inspiration and superhero for children and adults far and wide.
Black Pather completely revolutionized the film industry.
We'd never seen anything like this before.
And even outside of the storyline, this movie broke barriers.
In the past, we struggled to see such overwhelming representation.
But Black Panther saw a whole new story brought to life.
And one of the main reasons for this was the cast members...
But the star of the show was none other than Chadwick Boseman.The Guardian described him as a man who helped to "[open] up people's minds."
Boseman added so much to the film.
He even opened up about the pressure that came about with such a big role.
"So you have to get it right."
Boseman had to bulk up before filming the movie.
Boseman was no different.
Fans began talking about how Boseman looked unwell.

However unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and the reality was much grimmer.
A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much.
From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more – all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.

What an amazing man Chadwick Boseman was. He knew the exact words to say on stage, interviews. Always had a smile & the ability to make others smile to. This year has been so depressing for all of us, but this news of Chadwick death is my low point.

He also shared a Black Lives Matter post.
His final post is particularly upsetting.
But the upsetting thing...Is his hashtag #WhenWeAllVote. It's evident that Chadwick had every intention to vote before he passed away.
Fans have also been watching an old interview of his.And the interview is particularly moving as it's about two young fans of his who had terminal cancer. What wasn't known at the time was that Boseman was also battling the disease at the same time.
The kids were desperate to watch Black Panther.In the interview Boseman says:
Their parents said, 'They're trying to hold on till this movie comes'.
To a certain degree, you hear them say that and you're like, 'Wow. I gotta get up and go to the gym. I gotta get up and go to work. I gotta learn these lines. I gotta work on this accent'.
"To a certain degree, it's a humbling experience."
Because you're like, 'This can't mean that much to them.' You know? But seeing how the world has taken this on; seeing how the movement and how it's taken on a life of its own, I realize that they anticipated something great.
He added:I think back now to a kid, and just you know, waiting for Christmas to come, waiting for my birthday to come, waiting for a toy that I was going to get a chance to experience, or a video game. I did live life waiting for those moments. And so, it put me back in the mind of being a kid just to experience those two little boys anticipation of this movie. And when I found out that they... Boseman then broke down in tears, recalling the boys' deaths.
