‘Dance Moms’ Star Criticizes Britney Spears’ Moves

Abby Lee Miller claims that her reaction to the online dance videos of Britney Spears has shifted from admiration of her “great, confident and well taught” dancing to cringing.

But before that… Britney’s much-buzzed-about memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ has shattered records with a total of 1.1 million copies sold.

This incredible achievement has made it the highest-selling celebrity memoir in history.

Britney herself is overjoyed with the success of her book and took to social media to express her gratitude to her millions of fans for their support.

She mentioned that ‘The Woman in Me’ was sitting at the top of the best sellers lists on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

This is a testament to the immense popularity and demand for Britney’s story, which delves into the juicy details of her past, including her tumultuous relationship with Justin Timberlake and her highly publicized conservatorship.

Not only does Britney share personal anecdotes, but she also praises her ex-partner, Sam Asghari, and makes shocking claims about her former husband, Jason Alexander, which he promptly denied.

But in the midst of this success, Britney is also facing some criticism.

The “Dance Moms” star, who is known for creating controversy, revealed to the Daily Mail in a newly published Monday interview that when Spears, 42, would dance, it was an “athletic, real dancing” style, reminiscent of Jennifer Lopez’s skills.

Abby Lee Miller reminisced, “The songs she did were ‘toxic’ and even in her video […Baby One More Time] when she wore her iconic schoolgirl outfit and paraded down the hallway of lockers – she was a great dancer.”

Trump, who was once a reality TV star, claimed that Spears’ talent was diminishing due to a lack of practice and her preference for low-rise pants.

Miller, 58, explained that the dancer had been separated from her instructor for too long, noting that “dance is a constantly developing art form, so it is essential to keep up with the most recent trends.”

Apart from that, Miller desires for Spears to raise her trouser waist.

She pointed out that, when wearing low-waisted pants, the body appears to be longer while the legs appear to be shorter.

She kept tugging her trousers lower in order to create the illusion of a longer torso and shorter legs, however, I suggested that she should do the opposite in order to make her legs look longer.

The choreographer — who was familiar with Spears’ first dance instructor, Darni Fenerty — states that she has been on the receiving end of criticism when voicing her thoughts on Spears’ dance clips.

Miller expressed his distress, saying, “I can’t help it, I shout at her and then everyone loathes me, and then the entire Britney fandom comes after me like I’m insane. How could I do such a thing?”

In the month of March 2021, Miller suggested to Spears that she should “hug [her] torso together” after she had shared a video of herself dancing in her own abode.

However, supporters of the show voiced their disapproval of the choreographer’s attitude, labeling her as “rude as hell” for her tendency to be “always negative.”

At the time, a reply was sent saying that it would be best to “mind one’s own business, recognize that Britney had achieved more success than the person and that she was being supported by a multitude of people.”

Someone else suggested, “Why not let her go ahead and dance it out?”

One individual argued that Spears was only expressing her opinion during her conservatorship, which concluded a few months later, saying, “We don’t need to be overly precise. She was under an extreme guardianship!”

Regardless, Miller didn’t take the lesson on board when it came to expressing her opinions about performers and their dance moves.

Abby Lee Miller, the choreographer, recently went on her “Leave it on the Dance Floor” podcast and was critical of Taylor Swift’s dancing skills.

She went as far as to label the 12-time Grammy winner as “pigeon-toed.”

Miller asserted that it was possibly “already too late” for Swift to develop her skills, as she had invested too much time “bent over her guitar” rather than dancing.

  via Getty

The speaker declared that they believed the singer probably felt she should have danced in her youth, before praising Travis Kelce as “a natural” on the dance floor.

  via Getty

“Kelce is not the greatest dancer,” the girl noted. “Let’s just say his boyfriend is much better.”

Miller was again the recipient of criticism after providing his opinion about the “Anti-Hero” vocalist’s dancing.

A Twitter user implored Abby to recognize her jealousy and move forward instead of continually criticizing someone.

Someone made a joke about Abby Lee Miller, the former star of Dance Moms who underwent a prison sentence, and Taylor Swift.

  via Getty

They remarked, “Remember the one who spent time behind bars? She had a few words to say about Taylor Swift😂.”

  via Getty

The only person who can confirm if she had taken dance classes when she was younger is her, but no one can deny her talent to connect with the viewers and her capacity to perform with music.

In the end, it is more important to consider the enthusiasm and dynamism she puts into her shows than whether her dancing is “flawless/”
