The actor didn't end up being invited to the premiere, resulting in him not attending... and people just couldn't believe their ears when Kaluuya explained why recently in an interview for The Graham Norton Show.

Kaluuya appeared on the popular talk show, The Graham Norton Show, earlier this month to discuss his role in Black Panther and the release of the second movie...

And he revealed that while he was filming for the first Black Panther movie, he actually missed out on attending the premier for Get Out.

"On the Sundance world premiere, I was in Atlanta because I was shooting [Black] Panther," he explained.

"I was chilling, I cleared my schedule. I was like, 'I really wanna do it.' And then just didn't get the invite. I wasn't invited, so I was just in my bed – someone texted me, 'It's done really well.'"

"I don't ask questions. You don't wanna be in a place that you don't feel wanted."

But despite the apparent snub, the actor was able to see the humorous side of it and joked that "this is the industry!".

While it remains unknown as to exactly why Kaluuya wasn't invited to the premiere of the movie he starred in...

It seems as if the actor hasn't got any hard feelings about it and he explained he was able to attend a screening with the rest of the cast and crew a week later.

Well, we personally feel it's outrageous that Kaluuya didn't receive an invite... and we certainly wouldn't be as light-hearted as he has been if we were in the same position!
