Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl broke down during a tribute concert for the band’s late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

The emotional show was the first time the band has played a concert together since Hawkins’ death.
The band’s former drummer died in March this year.

Frontman Dave Grohl gave a heartfelt performance at the star-studded concert at Wembley Stadium in London.
Grohl was clearly overcome with emotion throughout the set, calling the late Hawkins his “dear friend, bandmate and brother.”

As per Deadline, Grohl said: “No-one else could make you smile or laugh or dance or sing like he could.”
“So sing and dance and laugh and cry and scream and make some noise so he can hear us right now,” he continued.

Featuring a variety of guest drummers, the show saw stars such as Travis Barker take to the stage. Hawkins’ own son even took to the kit during an emotional performance of ‘My Hero’.
Other guest stars included Paul McCartney, Nile Rogers, as well as members of Metallica, Queen and AC/DC.

This was the first of 2 scheduled tribute concerts, with another to be held in Los Angeles later this month.
