Former Gilmore Girls actor, David Sutcliffe, has been branded a "traitor" after he weighed in on the Capitol Hill riots that took place on January 6th...

How will he get out of this one?

Sutcliffe, who played the role of Christopher Hayden in the hit series, has ruffled plenty of feathers today with his Twitter antics.

The actor-turned-life coach revealed his problematic stance on the riots when replying to a video that showed a rioter smoking weed in the building...

And, let's just say, people are not impressed.

Now, this isn't the first time Sutcliffe has expressed his far-right tendencies.

While he has not been as publicly vocal about politics as some other celebrities have been, Sutcliffe has recently been caught liking a tweet that proclaims "men's politics is best for the world" and slams "the authoritarian left."

He also tweeted on Jan. 10 that when Trump dies, he will become "a symbol of rebellion, and replaces Che Guevara on t-shirts."

Problematic doesn't quite cut it, does it?

So, bearing all of this in mind...

His latest Twitter behavior may not shock you too much.

As stated earlier, Sutcliffe took to the platform to put some rumors to bed.

Various people had been speculating that the actor had been spotted among the rioters inside the Capitol Building on January 6th.

Sutcliffe has stressed that this was not the case...

But, at the same time, also showed his support for the whole incident.

He shared this video...

Which shows an emotional rioter lighting up a joint inside the Capitol - one of the biggest acts of disrespect, if you ask me.

And this is what he wrote:

"There are rumors circulating that I 'stormed the capital.' Not true - though I would have been proud to share a smoke with this great Patriot!"

Really, David?

The actor is yet to formally respond to the backlash.
