Dax Shepard is a busy man. The Punk'd star somehow manages to navigate his busy work schedule and raise his two beautiful children.

As a couple, it's amazing that Kristen and Dax find any time for each other. You don't become "couple goals" for nothing, and it's this dedication the pair put into their relationship that has made them the envy of Tinseltown.

But they're not perfect - and they're more than happy to admit it - as this latest news proves.

Kristen Bell is one of television's best-loved actresses.

The comedy star is well known for roles on Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, and The Good Place.

She's married to Dax Shepard.

Shepard is a multitalented actor, writer, director, and podcast host.

The pair met in 2007.

They've been together for a long time - but decided to delay their marriage until California legalized same-sex marriage in 2013. What a couple of cuties!

They're known for being the definition of couple goals.

They're incredibly cute together, and can often be spotted in adorably intimate public displays of affection.

They've always avoided becoming a boring married couple.

They're very open about how they want to remain young and fun, even as they grow old together. Adorable.

But that isn't to say that they make it look easy.

What's fantastic about Shepard and Bell is how open they are about how much work it takes to make a successful marriage.

The couple are open about both marriage and parenthood.

And, though they make both look like great fun, they also admit that it's not always rosy. In fact, the pair have admitted to being enrolled in couple's therapy to make sure that they make it work.

But make it work, they do.

And talking about the difficulties of marriage and parenthood only serve to normalize these issues and make everyone feel a bit better about their imperfect lives.

Shepard has also been open about other struggles.

He's claimed, that from the age of just eighteen until the year 2004, he struggled on and off with substance abuse. He worked to become clean and now is living his best life.

And Bell has always been supportive of his journey.

Having an addict partner is never easy, so we take our hats off to Bell for constantly standing by Shepard's side. Honestly, these two are just the best.

In fact, Bell is incredibly supportive of Shepard.

"I know how much you loved using. I know how much it got in your way. And I know, because I saw, how hard you worked to live without it. I will forever be in awe of your dedication, and the level of fierce moral inventory you perform on yourself, like an emotional surgery, every single night [...] I'm so proud that you have never been ashamed of your story, but instead shared it widely, with the hope it might inspire someone else to become the best version of themselves. You have certainly inspired me to do so." Aw!

It doesn't seem like anything could bring the pair down.

And yet, there are still people out there hoping for their downfall - if only so that they can write a good story about it.

And once such source reached out to Shepard last year.

A very intruding email dropped into his inbox - and he seemingly couldn't resist putting the press on blast for attempting to point out difficulties in his marriage.

Not only is this clearly an invasion of privacy...

But it also seems to be the vaguest story ever ...? They're having troubles, because of Dax's past substance abuse issues, but they're also fine? Huh?

Sometimes, the best way to take down a nonsense story is to treat it like it's totally accurate. It only serves to depict the true absurdity of the lies.

But then things got even better.

Kristen Bell commented on the Instagram post "admitting" her "guilt" in terms of leaking the dirty details of their marriage to the media.

But she offered him a helpful solution.

We'd love to see the response of this magazine if Dax had actually taken Kristen's advice in terms of response.

(Just FYI, Bell is joking. There's clearly no actual source for the story.)

But wow, what a way to prove to doubters wrong.

But the latest news from Dax has fans of the pair feeling worried.

It's not good news.

What makes this couple even more amazing?

They don't pretend to be perfect - and are open about their fights and struggles as a couple.

During an episode of his podcast, Dax made a sad announcement.

After 16 years of sobriety, he'd relapsed.

He'd been taking opioids in recent weeks.

And decided to come clean and be honest about it.

Luckily, for fans of the star...

He's now sober again, and has clocked 7 days already!

"An episode I hoped I'd never have to record ..."

"But one I felt I owed to all the beautiful Armcheries who have been on this ride with me for the last couple years. This was Monday, say today is 11."

We're wishing this couple all the best during this difficult time.
