Since the season got the green light, fans have been drip-fed teasers and clues about what to expect next time.

Creator, Liz Feldman, says there will be more "darkness" during the second season.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "Just like the rest of the show, it's not exactly what you think it's going to be.
"This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So, suffice to say, there will be more darkness."

She also said there will be a "role reversal" of sorts.

"There's an evening of the score and there's a rebalancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal." It's certainly cryptic but very intriguing.

"There are definitely going to be more secrets and more twists and turns, so we can count on that." " I knew there was a twist in the first episode when I read the first season, but I didn't realize how each episode would be, that the show would turn and twist as the season went on. So I'm really excited about that," she explained.

Her co-star, Christina Applegate, has also spoken out about the new season:

"Holy crap! Liz ( Feldman - showrunner) went over what the season is going to look like. Oh hell. She said it's going to be much harder work for me this season. I was depleted as a human being after last year. I plan on trying to laugh a lot between now and September [when filming on season 2 began]. Really enjoy lightness," she explained.

Linda Cardellini revealed the good news.

Although the second season isn't quite ready for us just yet, Cardellini confirmed that filming had finally wrapped up. She did so with an Instagram post.

The Insta post said:

Last day of shooting @deadtome #season2 today. THANK YOU to the brilliant and incredible #christinaapplegate & @thelizfeldman for everything every day. I love you both."
She added:
PS - we are very excited for everyone to see what we have been doing...

The shows creator has spoken too.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the show's creator, Liz Feldman, explained:
What I wanted to do was create a situation where they're forced together, and they need each other now in some ways more than they did at the beginning of season 1.

We're so hyped.

So what's on the cards. Christmas is just days away. Then we've got new years. And to make the twenties even more exciting than they already are, we've got season two of Dead To Me. Enjoy!
