Richards has had her fair share of high-profile relationships over the years.
But her previous marriage to Charlie Sheen has to be the most publicized.
They were married for 3 years and share 2 daughters together, but sadly it didn’t work out between them and they split in 2005.
It was front-page news at the time, and their relationship was allegedly tumultuous.
It caused a lot of problems between the pair, but they are reportedly in a better place now.
Richards even invited him to her wedding with Aaron Phypers, who she married in 2018.
Despite not attending, he allegedly sent his best wishes to the star.
Phypers and Richards came together creating a blended family with her daughters Sami and Lola.
Richards also has another daughter, Eloise, who she adopted in 2011, and she said that Phypers is also planning to adopt her.
“He’s an amazing father,” she told Us Weekly.
“I already obviously call him, you know, her dad and that’s our daughter … it’s the best thing ever.”
Before getting hitched to Richards, Phypers was married to Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan.
However, after 6 months together, they split in 2015.
It’s clear things are going swimmingly for Richards and Phypers.
And that family life is something they’ve embraced with open arms.
However, recently something shocking happened to the star, making them hold onto each other a little tighter.
Richards is reportedly “very shaken up.”
Phypers was driving Richards to Popsicle Studio for a movie she was filming.
But things didn’t exactly go to plan.
According to People, an insider told them that “she was very shaken up and terrified, but she was a trooper and she went and filmed the whole day.”
“She didn’t want to not show up to work.”
The couple was making their way to the movie set in LA when the frightening situation happened.
A van began to follow them mid-way through their journey.
“[Aaron] could tell — he kept making rights because they were clearly being followed,” the source told the media outlet.
“The guy was obviously p*ssed behind him.”
“The van was on his tail, pushing him almost… they couldn’t figure it out,” the source continued.
They added that both Richards and Phypers were “frantic” during the ordeal.
The man pulled to the side of them in his van, giving Phypers the chance to ask him what the problem was…
According to the source, the man then “went off of them” shouting that they cut him off.
Phypers apologized to the man but drove off after he wouldn’t let up about being cut off.
They only noticed that the car had been shot at when they got to the set where Richards is filming Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace.
“The guy had taken off by then, but when they realized the car was shot, they were really freaked out, and the production secured the scene,” the source said.
“Even though they were upset, [Richards] decided to stay and film. Her role was just a one-day deal.”
“The production company made her feel safe but they didn’t file a police report.
“They think now that people were after the car itself because it’s worth a lot of money,” the source added.
No police report was filed, but a member of production allegedly informed the police of the incident.
It’s not known if officers came out to the scene.
Truly terrifying!
We’re just glad no one was hurt.
