Since the death of his wife, Beth, Dog has found himself in and out of media scandals, and the most recent one is certainly the worst. But let's start from the beginning...

It all started in 1986.

Beth was only nineteen years old when she met Dog. The situation was difficult as Dog was already married, but this didn’t stop the pair from striking up an on-off relationship.

They called it quits when Beth married Keith Barmore...

But it didn't last for Beth and Keith and, after a couple of years, they decided a divorce would be best for both of them. Dog's marriage didn't last either, so the former lovers reunited in 1995 before getting married in 2006.

The couple went on to have 2 children, and they stayed together ever since.

And then Dog the Bounty Hunter, the TV show that propelled them to superstardom, came along. The show was based on the life and experiences of Duane, who bounty hunts for a living.

Both of them worked hard to earn their celebrity statuses.

Beth and Dog were said to have tracked down over six-thousand criminals and made over $4 million in bonds that they’ve won as a consequence of catching them. The pair very quickly became recognized as the brash and outrageously hilarious couple that they have been till the very end.

Their constant bickering was comedy gold.

A lot of other married couples felt as though they could relate to them, which only helped them grow in popularity.

Things seemed to be going well for them, but then Beth shared some tragic news.

She announced that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer. Despite being told that she was free of the disease only 3 months later, the cancer returned in 2018. This lead to Beth having to undergo an emergency operation to remove a mass on her throat.

Even though the operation was a success, there was more bad news for Beth.

It was discovered that the cancer had spread to both her throat and her lungs and that it was, unfortunately, incurable.

Beth was in love with her job, so vowed to spend her final days "on the hunt."

Somehow, the family managed to come to terms with this tragedy, and Beth wanted nothing more than to spend her last days doing what she did best on America’s Most Wanted.

But, unfortunately, Beth's health continued to deteriorate...

After resting at home in recovery from further treatment, Beth was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Hawaii after having difficulty breathing. According to reports, she began fighting against the help of doctors and it was understood that she was attempting to remove the tubes that were in place to feed her medication and fluids.

Beth passed away in her home in Hawaii on the 26th of June, 2019.

Her husband broke the news that everyone was dreading in a tweet that ended: "See you on the other side."

It was an incredibly difficult time for Dog and the rest of Beth's family.

After his wife's death, Dog found it really difficult to cope. The impact of the tragic event really had a toll on his mental and physical wellbeing.

In the following days, the bounty hunter lost an alarming amount of weight.

His physical health suffered tremendously as he lost seventeen pounds within 2 days. He was also in and out of the hospital as he suffered from what were described as "severe" heart conditions and depression symptoms in the weeks that came.

He even attempted suicide.

Dog the Bounty Hunter revealed that he was actually contemplating taking his own life due to the downward spiral he was heading in after Beth passed.

But in more recent times, things seem to be looking up for the star.

He's recently revealed he's found love again with Francie Frane - and it seems the 2 are quarantining together.

But not everyone is too happy with his new love life.

Since he and Francie went public with their relationship, Dog has been receiving an awful lot of backlash.

His online behavior seems to have caused quite a stir among fans.

Dog has been behaving quite bizarrely on social media, and his photos of Francie contain some rather questionable captions.

He captioned a photo of his new lover with this alarming sentence:

"I scream & Cry Beth where are you why did you leave me then I look up & see you Francie & the pain turns to a smile I LOVE YOU WOMAN !!"

Very bizarre, I know...

And things have just got a whole lot more controversial.

Amidst the outrage over his love life, fans now have another reason to be angry with Dog.

A video of Dog going off on a very racist rant has emerged online and people have been left completely disgusted.

And he is heard trying to justify the use of it, with him saying it approximately 6 times in the rant.

It isn't nice to hear...

And people have been taking to Twitter to express their disgust over Dog's words.

And how he can't "handle that s***" because she's black. "A mess. The bottom line he doesn't like the fact that his son is in an interracial relationship. Dog doesn't care for blacks," one YouTuber wrote.

Dog doesn't seem to see the issue surrounding the N-word...

"Yeah, its a word but to a black person, it represents negativity and hatred towards our race when used in a violent manner!" another user wrote.

Dog is yet to respond to his rant, so make sure to stay posted for further updates.
